Titan Pack delayed in Europe

Believe me, we are as outraged and disappointed by this situation as you are. We're still trying to understand how this happened - this entire fiasco starting with the 3/5 delay has been entirely out of our hands.

The Titan Pack will be release in Europe on 3/26.

We're still tracking down whether this delay affected the North American release or not.

Our humblest apologies.

Tables have turned. EU got Patch 2.0 first, now US get the Titan Pack first

Did I mention I'm jealous. Is it worth trying to download the US version?

That is really gutting (although I have both EU and US copies so hopefully the US one won't be affected).

I really home Sony get their act together with certification one of these days. One of the best examples ever of developer support for the PS3 and Sony (SCEE specifically I assume) mess it up. Anyway I hope this doesn't leave a bitter aftertaste for Epic - because what you are doing with this pack and for PS3 players is awesome.

I just got it too. It appeared in the center section where it advertises games. I'm d/l now too.

I found it by clicking on the UT3 banner which was up on the front page of the US PSN store. If the banner isn't there, exit the store and go back in because the banners seem to change around randomly.

I can't even get into the store now. I was just there 10 minutes ago and there was nothing.

What the heck? Is Canada getting snubbed now too? There's no pack on our store.

Edit: Okay I got it. I had to jump all around the store until it showed up in a banner ad. Unfortunately I'm getting all kinds of network errors though.

Yep it's in the US store. Not listed except in the center advertisement thing when you go back to the main menu of the store.

Any chance it would be compatible with the EU game?

I wonder if SCEE found a bug. They are way more strict than SCEA who tend to "release now, patch later" (I'm looking at you SOCOM and SSFIITHDR).

If there is a bug, you know people are just going to moan about it and demand better bug testing in future releases.

It's downloading pretty quick. I'm about 60% complete already. I thought it would be slow to start with everyone hitting it.

Everyone hitting it? Jesus if something like this happens again there will be 1 less everyone downloading it. What a joke, if its ready it should be released.

Like you guys I'm very disappointed. We can't enjoy Titan alongside everyone else, were a week behind them as we were months behind them in getting UT3. Even worse we can't link up with our clans 'till next week! If Sony Corp. want to know why people think they're not the best anymore then thats because they use words like "innovation" perhaps they should re-phrase to "EU vacation". Really guys thanks for making all those not from N.America in getting a realistic picture of your Sony Worldwide Global community. It is you that we should call "Unreal".
No blame towards Epic imo. Thanks for such an innoavting and inspiring gesture. I will continue to play on 360. As for PS3 then....it can gather dust in my cupboard.

I doubt this: why didn't they do this in the first place then? I guess there is much more code involved than what a single mod can execute.

This just went horribly wrong: 1st, they couldn't make the deadline of March the 5th, then SCEE releases the 2.0 patch anyway while SCEA is still waking up and, now SCEE messes up big time and there is a hole between the EU and US community again.
