    Question Enhanced Spectator/Camera mod?

Hi. I've been playing this game for a while now and I've gotten used to the UI and physics and all of that stuff. And I recently got the idea that this engine is ideal for making machinima with. But there is one thing about this game that is kind of holding me back, and that's the camera control that makes it way too obvious that you're playing a game.

I was kind of curious since I haven't seen the mention of such a mod anywhere, is it possible to create a mod for spectators that focuses completely on realistic camera control? Things like panning, smoother mouse movements and zoom functions. (Depth of Field too, maybe? The engine can obviously handle that somewhat) Maybe being able to tilt the camera sideways so that shaky-cam effects look more convincing?

I would love to hear som feedback about this idea. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply, but I'm not really sure if this is the solution I'm looking for. Will these tools be able to make such a mutator? While animating characters this way and plotting camera paths do seem really nice, it's not really what I had in mind. I only want a mutator that grants me extra freedom with the camera in-game, if this is at all possible. I wanted to approach this project in a console-style way, with multiple actors connected via LAN and with me in spectator/player mode recording their actions. While the current camera control is fine for stationary shots, I feel that a realistic camera control mod would do so much for machinima-making community.
