Just to add further to this topic, these new name tags are also causing me problems when using nvidia 3d vision, for some reason they are rendered at the wrong depth to the player which makes it impossible to play in stereo3d mode, I really think epic should add an option to turn these name tags off ingame, as it is now I am in process of setting up a dedicated server just for this reason.

The mutator might work better with other mutators if you override DrawPlayerBeacon in UTHUD.

I beat my head against the wall for hours trying to figure this out. The new code for player tags is the class UTHUD. I figured it out though. YOu can download it here:

Made this votable on my server which is totally sweet. It's almost as good as having a client side menu option that Epic should have had in the first place...
