I think MLG is a gaming league and he's asking if they will have it in their next season for people to play competetively.

MLG is major league gaming. It is a tournament that is held in various places every month. It is mainly held in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Phillidalphia.

I'm not sure if MLG will support GoW, but who knows?

I'm going to MLG chicago this summer for Halo 2

I doubt it, but I really hope so. If GoW gets an enormous fan base like halo, I would have no doubt it would happen, but there really isn't any shooter on a console that is extremely popular like halo.

PRAY TO GOD. I'm waiting for them to pick up a 360 shooter so my clan can start participating in their events. I'm a really competitive gamer (as you can tell by some of my posts), so I've got my hopes of participating on the 2007 season riding on this xD. Halo 2 was great and all, but I don't think it will have enough juice to finish another season.

Even with a huge following, it may not happen. It's also about balance..and I'm praying the guys at Epic hit the sweet spot for that.

Yeah, Final Boss and TSquared. I hope Carbon takes 1st Place before the end of the season, they rape. FB's teamwork is sick though.

Back on topic..I don't think GoW will make it to MLG. Unless it's as balanced as Halo, and as popular.

I really depends on how strong the mp backing is going to be for this game. As you can see, MLG is picky when they pick a game as one to play for there next season. If anything, we could bug them untill the make a league.

And when was this? I'm pretty sure you're lying anyway, there's no garbage players on Str8 Rippin kid. People can improve drastically over time anyway, so yeah..but I'm pretty sure you're lying. Unless you'd like to pull out the list of games off of Bungie and show me. And how do you know it was really TSquared? Just because someone had that GT doesn't mean it was him..a lot of pros don't even do too much matchmaking (at this point) except Team Hardcore or, to a lesser extent, Rumble Hardcore.

Not to mention, TSquared dropped out of high school to do MLG, and as far as I'm concerned, he's done a lot for it.

We all know that Halo > Halo 2. Halo 2 was kinda noobed up by Bungie so it would be easier (auto aim, rocket lock-on, melee lunge) for casuals or whatever, so yeah..not as good for competitive play as Halo was.

If there's no 360 shooter for MLG next season, I'm going to be as pissed as pissed can be. I'm hoping this can be that title.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that wouldn't work. That's like rallying against Bungie to make Halo 3 more like Halo 1..it's just not going to happen.
