    omg I love the Dragon INI you made, they work great! I use the Invasion Everywhere 2 mod, so these go perfectly in here! I saw a much older version of these, on Joey's Monster Madness Invasion Server, but they were low detailed, and underpowered. So now, I have the raptor addon, unreal 1 monsters (I don't know where to find the Unreal 1 mod anymore, the site appearently went down, but I managed to salvage it before it went down. It's a huge mod, and I could re-upload it to filefront.) and a bunch of custom satore monsters, and now the Dragon INI. Great work!

    i just hope that cyberdemon ends up acting like the real thing the last version was running n didn't really seem much like a boss but it was still well done i'd say

    hmm now if only there was a way to code the Tank from left 4 Dead

    or perhaps the chainsaw guy from Resident Evil 4-5 =o

    Another thing: the problem with the raptor ini you updated, I believe you're missing a texture package in the download, because It doesn't appear at all, even when I summon it, and I loaded the anim package in UED, and theres no textures. Just giving you a heads up about that.

    Did you happen to check the other packages? The textures are in the .u file. The Raptors skins are referenced directly in the code.

    Summoned things only spawn if they fit in the space. Look at your log when you try to summon something (type showlog in the console). If there is indeed a package missing it should say something like "failed to load.. cant find file for.." If all it says is "fabricate bla.bla" then it didn't fit in the space but it had no problems finding the class.

    The most likely cause is that you was one of the lucky ones that downloaded a version with a mistake in the .ini lines. Read the second to last post on this thread Tentacle/Barnacle/Raptor Typo

    Me cannot wait for DOOM Monsters... By the way I remember that upside-down human-head/spider creature being used in Zombies Of Nightmare.

    (Can't play Doom 3 on account of lack of funding, lack of game and computer power... well maybe I got the computer power... not sure.)

    I had an odd dream 2 nights ago... and it involved a creature I've never seen nor heard of before.
    I decided it'd be probably good to post what I remember of this "Creature" here...

    From what I remember, it looked like a large gorilla-like human. It's body was half-decaying but its body was grotesquely muscular... Its head was odd-shaped too... Like an Ape's but somehow NOT an Ape... Yeah it had a bulging forehead, but it also had long dull teeth sticking through its lips. Plus it walked on all fours, just like an ape... plus it had LONG claws. Kinda like a Sloth's... Plus, they're slow.

    From what I saw, regarding its attacks... It had 3. One of them being the lethalest.
    First attack was a standard Claw Swipe attack.
    Second is your typical Ape-Double-handed smash-on-the-ground... But I noticed it sent a shockwave out, knocking everyone near it onto their asses.
    The Third attack was VERY annoying... It let out this high-frequency screech which literally DEAFENED me... Not to mentioned gave me a migraine from hell, blurring my vision greatly... I think it made my ears bleed honestly. Yet I noticed it only screeched when it was heavily wounded, like it was a call for help.


    What do you guys think?

    MonsterExtreme Monster Pack.
    Hello all i'm releasing all my custom monsters that were on my server because i'm done running server's. Going to spend my free time gaming now. I give credit to Gopostal for making them up for me and to ini for letting us use one of his monsters for some custom work. Also of course the guys who made the skins, Thanks guys, you made my server interesting.

    To be honest, the dream involved me in a "Zombie Invasion." That sounds cliche, huh?

    Guys I appreciate wildman allowing those to be public. He had given me permission to post them into the vault, but I made them for his server and I didn't feel right being the guy to release them.

    Consider this permission to have them if you want them anyone. I am done with 2004 and fully committed to UT MonsterHunt. If you want the source on the monsters, I will happily send it to you along with the tex and sounds. The only caveat I ask is that you keep the easter egg in GodHorus. I owe Ini so incredibly much and it was a small gesture towards his time spent smacking my head straight when I was in error.

    If you all ever want a change of pace give UT MH a shot. I am running a full site and suite of servers:

    It's a good monster pack but there's a slight few flaws with it.
    1. The Monsters all have the same HP according to the main file that governs them. The 2009Monsters.ini.

    I took the time and set up custom health for each of the enemies depending on their skill. Here's what I came up with.

    Unfortunately, it seems that the .ini doesn't really control the enemies.

    2. Their attack power's kinda weak. I played against these guys using Ballistic Weapons with X5 Damage modifier... and those guys merely took off 5per hit no matter what creature nailed me. That shows that their offense is kinda hacked together.

    The monsters are all fine. All the monsters have the correct "doom" health values by default if you just turn off the health settings. The whole point of the .ini is so you can set them to what ever you like if you don't want to use a mutator like monstermanager.

    The "attack power" i.e damage in unreal is also correct and is all "doom" like. Invasion/Shield/Regeneration all change/affect how much damage monsters do. By giving them relatively low values players that don't use "ballistic weapons" or RPG can enjoy them in complete default/stock mode. Other mutators including my monsterDamageConfig can be used to change the damage more of any monster.

    The 2009DoomMonsterPack.ini settings are no different than most other monsters I release.



    Also can everyone please appreciate the weeks of none stop time and effort I put into making this huge pack and all of my monsters for that matter. I'm getting tired of emails and messages about things i've already addressed in the README's. Its there for a reason. I do not want to hear any more complaints (how rude?) like "noes the cac0DemoN is the wrong shade of yellow" or "htE Cyberguy is 1.5 feet too tall" etc... Or you know what, in the future I just wont bother releasing these. I make them for fun, and to learn the processes. Its my hobby and I do not have to share it. Be grateful that I try to accomodate every mutator out there, that I think of "what if they use rpg?", "what if they don't?" etc.. Afaik I'm one of the only people if not the only one to do this.

    I am sure that I speak for a lot of people when I say how much I appreciate all of your work Ini.

    You can populate a very large Invasion server with your works alone

    After what you have shown me about monster creation I realize that it is a very time consuming task.

    A monster pack of this size is amazing and I am always amazed with all of the diverse effects that you create.

    I don't blame you at all for tiring of all the complaints, but please don't let that stop you from releasing your work!

    There are many out here who think that your monsters are top-notch!!!!

    Thanks again for another reason to keep playing Invasion...

    Oh hell yes SECOND!!!

    I totally get where you are coming from Ini. So often the only feedback you get is negative. It's not an excuse but I really don't think the average guy has an inkling what is involved in making the magic you do. They don't realize the hours and hours spent making it great. And worst of all they don't factor in how a glib comment can hurt so much.

    Guys when you release a monster, its almost like putting your girlfriend/child in front of people to be judged. Try to be less harsh and more supportive. Ini has busted his ass making things. If you play invasion, you play his stuff, period. It doesn't mean you can't disagree with something he makes, but calling his work "hacked together" is harsh and uncalled for. He cares more than any other coder I know. Open any code he has ever put out and look how clean and neat. This is a guy who spends the time on the little things that need to be done.

    Hacked together....I'm at a loss how to reply to that.

    Hacked together????? I'm with Gopo i don't know how to respond to that as well. This is one of ini's best work ever. If i owned Epic ini i'd hire you in a minute.
    That's one of the reason's i closed down my server they don't realize how much time you spend on something. Every time i play on my server, someone always wined about something.
    Pay them no mine ini these monsters are the coolest.
