Default Locust life cycle? My theory

it starts with the berserker laying a cluster of about 30 eggs.

Stage 1 (infant) - Wretches (genderless)
    Stage 2 (puberty) - Male = Drone/Grenadier - Female = Kantus
young adult - Male = Theron/Boomer - Female = Elder female (like skorge)
Full Adult - Male = Palace guard/Elder male (like RAAM) - female = Berserker

This whole theory just came out of boredom and noticing that the kantus/skorge has similar a segmented skin to berserkers. Does anyone else agree?
I can no longer defend Gears of War as of 15/12/2012
"play as you want" unless you want to play as locust...you can't do that...
My purchase of GOWJ now rests firmly on whether or not HORDE and/or BEAST are returning as seperate game modes
not touching regular MP with a 10ft sterilised barge pole...being held by someone else...who I dont like...

how come it would be weird for the same race of people with some genetic difference between them to have the same sort of skin?
hey, a Trout has the same kind of skin as a Bass! they must be part of the same life cycle!
I do not want to ridicule you for your theory it just doesn't sound really viable, due to Wretches being slaughterd by the hundreds while not apparently disturbing the reproductive cycle in any way

I have to agree with that. I don't know how wise it would be for a race on the brink of extinction to send hordes of their babies into battle.

I never thought a Kantus was female. That's interesting. Did the Queen ever call Skorge "him"?
Also, the idea that the other classes are just aged Locusts doesn't sit well with me. I understand the older they get, the more experienced they are likely to be, but does it make sense to have exclusively old locusts in your elite forces?

Thats good, so what the theory suggests is that all ranks in the Locust military are pick by age, and that Kantus and Skorge a female, i guess i could accept that?

But i agree with Jurnag, if wretches are being slaughtered by the hundreds would that mean that the Locust would have a shortage in troops or even population itself?
If you want a Monster... I'll be your Monster.
You know what happens to a Frog when it gets struck by lightning? Same thing that happens to... other stuff.
