The patch work fine. I need uninstall and reinstall (dont lose anything like game save).

The sign of the file with problem is 28-01-2012 but I change my system date at 2015 and work very good. Game run without any problem.

Thanks for the patch. The game now works. For those having difficulty, just extract the patch from the packed file and run the file named "Update".

I tested the game just now, and I have all my saved games.

Since I don't know how to upload the file, just run WinZip or WinRar and extract those files for yourselves.

You just need to run the file named "Update". Any other file will probably break your game.

I did that, the game successfully patched, then I run the game and voala same error with modified executable thing :/, I run the patch for czech republic it has 246 kb i think

Well I know that, but I don't know where this has downloaded to, unless of course you're talking about mannually downloading and installing the patch... in which case I am screeewed because LIVE had already downloaded and installed it for comical break.

Is your game english or czech? If english, the download the US Patch.

It should have extracted it to the folder where you downloaded the patch.

Profess, you might have to uninstall and reinstall the game.

I tried the english patch and it told me the old file not found or something like that

Ah, alas. I've just downloaded the patch just to make sure, and sure enough LIVE automatically downloaded and installed the patch already and it's said patch that has screwed-up my copy.

Well, at least the 'modified executable code' message is gone, even if it took the game with it.

ive played mine for like 1 year now
i kept on installing and uninstalling it cuz ive been changing pc's
now, when i install it, it fails to install
wtf
and my problem wwas after a uninstalled it cuz of that whole cannot run the game with executable.....

Patch worked fine for me, except (a) I had to reinput my key (not a big issue), and (b) dialogue doesn't seem to work now after I turn on audio effects (rather a bigger issue!). However, I don't think I tested it since reinstalling on my new XP64 system anyway, so it might always have been this way! Will continue to test and let you know

You're lucky. The patch did absolutely nothing for mine. I still have yet to even see a title screen for a game I bought on wednesday.
