Achievements Question

Seriously, what is this?

I've finished GoW, all chapters, and got the necessary achievements to get the Mercenary and Soldier achievements, but they don't show up on my gamer score.

Could it be that I played the first 4 chapters at once, then I had to reinstall windows on a later time, and all my saved games were gone, and just played the last chapter?

If so, that sounds pretty stupid, aren't the achievements linked together?

I just played Act 1 Chapter 1 and I got the ones i was missing.

Yeah, the same thing happened to me. Once I re-installed windows, I lost my progress towards certain cheevos, and had to play some chapters over again.
