OFFICIAL HUMAN CHARACTERS

COG

Marcus Fenix: Few have given more and lost as much as Marcus Fenix. A promising soldier during the Pendulum Wars, Marcus saw everything change during Emegence Day. Marcus bravely fought the Locust for ten years, then, during an intense battle, Marcus abandoned his post to rescue his father, Professor Adam Fenix. But he arrived too late. Marcus was tried dereliction of duty and was sentenced for 40 years in Jacinto Maximum Security Prison. Incarcerated for 4 years before being released to fight the Locust again, Marcus was later promoted to Sergeant.

Along with the rest of Delta squad, he won a battle for humanity by detonating the Lightmass bomb and destroying much of the Locust Hollow. With his reputation restored, Marcus now focuses on finishing the war against the Locust, and helping his friend Dom on his own personal mission.

Marcus and Delta squad were sent to Landown to drill into the Hollow, where they found out Locust were sinking cities with a giant worm. After being swallowed by the worm, Delta Squad sawed it's arteries and killed it. Marcus and Delta Squad went to the New Hope facility were they found out about the Sires, after which they went under Mount Kadar. Soon enough they found Nexus, and seen the Queen, then they did battle with Skorge. After defeating Skorge, Delta squad returned to jacinto where they completed their plan of flooding the Hollow by using a Lambent Brumak. Delta is unaware that some Locust are still alive...

Dominic Santiago: A seasoned fighter who's positive in even the darkest of hours, Dominic Santiago freed his friend Marcus Fenix from Jacinto Maximum Security Prison and recruited him into Delta Squad. His battlefield intensity is matched only by his loyalty to Marcus.

Dom's friendly and outgoing nature lets him form relationships with other factions of Sera, including the Stranded. He's always quick with a joke, but Dom's amiability masks an inner conflict, a conflict that makes the war against the Locust Horde, for him, far more serious - and far more personal, the Locust had captured his wife and killed his children. When Dom found his wife outside Nexus, he was shattered to see her in such bad shape and killed her out of pity. Dom now has little to no hope...

Augustus Cole: Private Augustus "Cole Train" Cole was once a successful Thrashball player known for his hard hitting and flamboyant style. After Emergence Day, Cole joined the military and brought that same grit and intensity to the battlefield. Cole has spent most of his military career alongside his friend Damon Baird, as the two begin a new chapter in their military careers, one thing stands true: Nothing stops the "Cole train," baby!

Damon Baird: Private damon Baird is a dedicated tech-head and professional skeptic. In Baird's head, if something can go wrong, it probably already has. His sarcasm can keep people at a distance, which is why he prefers the company of machines. He believes in the Coalition's cause, but he's often frustrated with command decisions, and he took offense when Hoffman promoted Marcus to leader of Delta Squad instead of him. Baird longs to one day command a squad of his own and sees his recent reassignment as a step in the right direction.

Anya Stroud: As Delta's control contact, Anya Stroud guides Delta Squad through their mission to destroy the Locust. Thanks to recent updates, the JACK bot now has a foldout screen which Anya can project herself on, so her connection to the team, and a certain Sargeant, can grow stronger.

Colonel Victor Hoffman: A military man to the core, Hoffman demands disipline and sacrifice from those under his command. Hoffman's strict adherance to these rules has caused him to cross swords with Marcus Fenix. It was Hoffman's testimony that convicted Marcus for Derliction of duty, although Hoffman later promoted him to Sargeant out of necessity. Now as the war continues, Hoffman must put aside his doubt, and trust Delta Squad again.

Minh Young Kim: A firm, honourable soldier, with a "by-the-book" leadership style, Kim led the mission to rescue Marcus Fenix, although he thought of Marcus as a deserter. Kim paid the ultimate price when General RAAM killed him.

Dizzy Wallin: A former Stranded turned reluctant soldier, Dizzy is torn between his distrust for the Coalition and doing whats right for his family. Dizzy feared for his family, so he signed onto Operation Lifeboat, he joined the COG in exchange for the safety of his family. Dizzy is now an Assault Derrick driver. Dizzy was last seen battling Skorge with Tai.

Tai Kaliso: A boulder of a man, Tai's muscular appearence stands in contrast to his meditative, quiet personality. Tai is very spiritual, which gets odd glances from soldiers who otherwise respect him. Tai has been friend of Marcus sice the Pendulum Wars. Tai was captured by Skorge, and was put on a Torture Barge. Delta Squad found him in horrible condition, Marcus gave him a shotgun to fight with, which he instead used to blow his own head off.

Chairman Prescott: Chairman Prescott is the current leader of the COG forces. Chairman Prescott is an excellent speaker who promises humanity will win the war, his rally cry rings throughout Jacinto.

Jack: Jack is Delta's robot companion. When Delta needs a door opened or a computer hacked, they turn to Jack. Jack allows Delta to communicate directly with Anya or Hoffman.

Anthony Carmine: Anthony was the second youngest of the 4 Carmine brothers. Anthony had utmost respect for veterans like Dom and Marcus. Anthony used a standard COG helmet which restricted his view, this caused his death when his gun jammed, and he was shot in the head by a Sniper.

Benjamin Carmine: Benjamin was the youngest of the 4 Carmine's. Just like his brother, Carmine was full of energy, and was afraid, of the Locust tatics. Carmine was killed when the Riftworm swallowed Delta's chopper, and he was killed by a Riftworm parasite.

Jace Stratton: Jace had a tough early life being brought up in an orphanage in Jacinto; it is not clear how his parents died. After leaving the orphanage he enlisted to join the Coalition of Ordered Governments Armed Forces as a Gear; he completed basic training with his childhood friend Gil Gonzalez.

As a private in Delta Squad Jace served alongside Marcus Fenix, Dominic Santiago, Michael Barrick and Gil Gonzalez. During a mission to recover ammunition and search for lost Gears. Delta Squad was ambushed. Gil gets hit in the ambush and dies in Jace's arms, this reminds Jace of how his brother died in his arms when he was a young boy. When they return to Jacinto Delta Squad receives a weeks' leave.

Jace then visits the orphanage he grew up in reliving old memories. After their leave Delta Squad is charged with investigating seismic activity between Jacinto and Montevado. They get attacked en-route by Nemacyst with the Raven pilot being killed by them, Jace then takes the control of the stricken chopper. Later Jace leads a squad Alpha-7 into the Hollow landing shortly after Delta squad. The ultimate fate of Jace and Alpha-7 is unknown.

Gil Gonzalez: Gil Gonzalez was a fairly new Gear in Delta Squad two months after the Lightmass Bomb went off. He had been in basic with Jace Stratton, and found it weird serving with a war hero such as Marcus Fenix. He was shot by Drones when the team investigated an old distress beacon and was ambushed. He was the only human casualty of the battle, bleeding to death in Jace's arms just as the last of the Boomers were finished off.

Bernadette(bernie) Mataki: Sergeant Bernadette "Bernie" Mataki was born in the South Islands in the 34th year of the Pendulum War. She joined the Coalition of Organized Governments at 18 years old. She was a hardened veteran who trained commandos for the COG. She had Dom and other trainees kill chickens with their bare hands and skin them with knives to teach them how to eat when out in the field (also had the effect of reinforcing training on how to kill other humans). Sergeant Mataki was an expert sniper, but also accomplished at close range fighting and hand-to-hand combat. She had taught Dominic Santiago and Georg Timiou a valuable lesson on how to humanely kill a chicken. She fought in the Battle of Aspho Fields and watched Dom's older brother Carlos take his own life to save C Company and Marcus. It transpired that Bernie was willing to shoot Carlos to end his suffering, but he managed to pull the grenade pin before Bernie could fire her sniper rifle. During the late stages of the war, she was wounded and sent back home to recuperate. When E-Day happened, she commandeered a boat and fought single-handedly to protect COG zones. She was trapped many thousands of miles away from Jacinto after E-Day, but travelled for 14 years to finally reach the last bastion of human civilisation, where she encountered the Stranded and many Grubs along the way. She had to sleep with a gun in her hand to fend off any attack that came her way.

Major Helena Stroud: Major Helena Stroud is the mother of Anya Stroud and instructor of Marcus Fenix and Carlos Santiago in which she trains them for their amphibious assault on the northern side of Aspho Point. Anya Stroud had just transferred from a local academy and met Marcus and Carlos for the first time before they were to be sent off to fight at Aspho Fields. She was killed after throwing grenades into an enemy tank and was post-humorously awarded the Embry Star for her actions. It is unknown who fathered her daughter, Anya.

Carlos Santiago: Carlos was a key soldier in the Pendulum Wars, participating in the Battle of Aspho Fields and holding off the forces of the enemy. He was wounded trying to stop an APC and gave his life to stop it by blowing up the bridge to Aspho Point and ending his life, knowing he was too badly injured to survive and not wanting Marcus to get himself killed in a rescue attempt. Despite his friend's protests, Marcus had still tried to save him, but Carlos pulled the pin and blew the bridge. In honor of Carlos, Dom named his children after him; His son's first name, Benedicto, which was Carlos' middle name, and his daughter's middle name Carla, which is the feminine form of Carlos.

Padrick: South Islander who is known for being a great sniper. He is red-headed and freckled, he has the Islander attitude to go along with the tribal tattoos. His spotter is Baz who also served with Marcus Fenix and Carlos Santiago on the Maranday-Sarfuth border.

Baz: Was Padrick's spotter at Maranday-Saruth Border.

COG Soldiers: COG soldiers will fight for the survival of humanity. COG's follow the command of Prescott to no ends, they will have themselves killed if it means that thier families, and friends, can survive.

Sgt. John Harper: 9 year veteran (I think), started GoW2 in a hospital recovering from a bad cough. Went to the hollow in a grindlift for Operation Hollow Storm, and was captured soon after. Was held prisoner, but escaped and died while evacuating a girl and her family from Jacinto. How he escaped from the Hollow is unknown.

Pvt. Dillan Murphy: Private Dillan Murphy used to be part of the infantry. He then became pilot of KR-59. It is unknown whether he's dead or not, because only his tags were found. His tags were completely clean, there was no blood.

Sammy: Sammy's rank is unknown, it is assumed he is a private because he was talking to his ma. He was going to Landown (possibly as a part of Operation Hollow Storm) and probably died on the way, as his tags were stained with blood.

Pvt. Hank Bissell: Pvt. Hank Bissell was a soldier who is mad at the cog, referring to them as "fascist bastards". He took part in Operation Lifeboat and possibly Operation Hollow Storm because he was riding in a grindlift into the ass of the enemy. His note shows his anger at the COG, talking about the lies they made to him. He may still be alive, because his COG tags had no blood stains.

Sgt. Devon Jackson: Sgt. Devon Jackson was a gear who helped with evacuation in Jacinto. Again, it is unknown whether he died or not because his tags had no blood.

STRANDED AND CIVILIANS

Maria Santiago: Maria is Dom's wife who went missing soon after Emergence Day. Dom found Maria later, she was captured by the Locust who basically turned her into a zombie. Out of sadness, Dom killed her.

Franklin: Franklin is a stranded, and a friend of Dom. Franklin wanted to assist Dom in finding his wife, but was unsuccessful.

Chap: Chap was the owner of "Chap's Gas Station", he lent Delta an APC. Chap was later seen in the Hollow with a large group of Stranded.

Dr. Doug Sato: Doug was one of the professors at New Hope. It is assumed that he resigned, because in his note he said he was working on a resignation letter. But the note has blood stains, so he might have died.

Ruth: Ruth was one of the test subjects at New Hope. She is female, and had some of the characteristics of a locust and a sire when she was being examined. There are several theories saying that she is the locust queen.

Dr. Stephanie Zimmer: Stephanie was a professor at New Hope. She probably resigned or ran away from the facility some time after Dr. Doug Sato. She wrote a Journal about her experiences at the facility.

Sven: Dr. Doug Sato mentions Sven in his note. He was mauled by a male sire and probably died.

Jennifer: Jennifer is a stranded. There's no more info on her... Her journal was found in the level "Captivity".

Julia Samson: There is also some conspiracy about Julia because she has the same last name as Niles, the director of the New Hope Medical Facility. She lived in Ilima.

Dr. Nicollette Shannon: A doctor at the Jacinto Hospital thing. She worked with Dr. Merriweather. She believes that Dr. Merriweather's judgement of her patients might be affected by her close ties with the COG. Her patients had paranoia and aggression.

Wayne Mitchell: An ambulance driver that brought in 4 patients that were all coughing up blood. This could quite possibly include the survivors from the crash from act 4 chapter 1 in GoW1, but there's no sure way of knowing.

Stu: Stu was the stranded that Chaps mentioned was traveling with Maria. He compares living in the hollow to camping. Stu was probably caught and killed by the locust. If the locust didn't kill him, the flood probably did.

Russell: Russell is a stranded that came to Jacinto from Montevado. He probably got to Jacinto before the light mass bomb was detonated, because he says the kryll attacked him during the nights when he was coming to Jacinto. He signed up for Lifeboat and became a conscript.

OFFICIAL LOCUST CHARACTERS AND CREATURES

LOCUST LEADERS

General RAAM: RAAM was a large sized Locust, once a simple Drone, RAAM elevated his status to a General through his fighting prowess. RAAM is a cold, calculating opponent, who can overshadow most humans and Locust. RAAM killed Kim, and was later killed by Marcus on the Tyro Pillar.

Skorge: Skorge is the High Priest of the Locust Kantus, and the leader of the Kantus Priests. In a fight, he uses Ink Grenades, a Gorgon Pistol, and his personal staff with chainsaws on each end.

He can also summon Tickers and can perform incredibly high jumps, displaying great agility. He also seems to have a personal giant Hydra, which uses a Mounted Heavy Machine gun and rocket launcher as part of its weaponry. He is able to control the Rift Worm, giving it orders and telling it where to go. It appears that after RAAM's death, he became the Locust Horde's new head general giving him even more power now that he had control of the religious and military castes.

He first appears when he attacks Delta Squad at Landown. He engaged both Tai and Dizzy in a chainsaw duel, and it is not known if he defeats them both. He is later seen commanding the power of the enormous Locust Deity the Rift Worm with his scream. He later battles Dom and Marcus in the Locust Queen's main chamber, and after Marcus destroys his chainsaw-staff during several intense duels, he flees on his monstrous Hydra. He later pursues Delta Squad when they hijack a Reaver, but they manage to escape to the surface. An intense pursuit ensues topside as Skorge uses the massive size and natural ferocity of his Hydra in an attempt to prevent Delta squad from providing needed relief in the ongoing Siege of Jacinto.

Skorge, however, underestimates the fighting spirit of the retreating Delta Squad, and is defeated when his Hydra is destroyed. Skorge is thrown off Hydra and is seen plummeting to the ground below; it is unknown whether he is truly dead or not.

Myrrah/ The Queen: Throughout the Game Locusts treat the Queen with the utmost respect, dying for her as necessary. The Chain of Command in the Locust army seems similar to that of an Ant Colony or a bee hive. The queen is actually seen and heard conversing with Delta Squad. After a lengthy duel with Skorge, you chase the queen for a final confrontation.

HORDE/CREATURES

Berserkers: Berserkers (other than the Queen) are the only known female Locust. Berserkers are blind and hunt by sound and smell, and when they find targets, they smash them to pieces with hammer-like fists. Berserkers are immune to standard gunfire, the only known way to defeat them is with extreme heat, or a Hammer of Dawn.

Bloodmounts: Bloodmounts are creatures that Locust use as mounts. Bloodmounts riders can be taken out, but this just sends the Bloomount on a rampage where only the Bloodmount's hunger for human flesh guides it.

Boomers: The slowest Locust, both physically and intellectually. Boomers shouldn't be written off as dumb goons, the Boomshot is a powerful weapon, and Boomers are more powerful than Drones. Although their habit of shouting Boom before firing, makes it easier to find cover when they shoot.

Butchers: Butchers are a variant of Boomer that feeds the Locust Horde. They use their massive cleavers to cut up Rockworms for food, but they will cut up any humans who venture too close as well.

Flame Boomers: Flame Boomers are slightly more heavily armoured than a normal Boomer, ans they wield the Scorcher flamethrower to deadly effect.

Grinders: Another variant of a Boomer. Grinders wield the Mulcher and use it to shred any Humans or Lambent who face them.

Maulers: The final known variant of a Boomer. Maulers are Boomers with helmets, Boomshields, and an explosive flail. Maulers are incredibly destructive at close range.

Brumaks: Brumaks are large denizens of the Hollow that Locust bred from apes. Brumaks are around 3 stories tall, and normally have giant wrist mounted machineguns, as well as large multi-missile launchers on thier backs, truly a foe to be feared.

Corpsers: Corpsers are large spider-like denizens of the Hollow that the Locust ended up domesticating. Corpsers are used to dig out parts of the Hollow, and to create Emergence holes. Corpsers were presumably the first Locust seen by Humans.

Drones: Drones are the most common species of the Locust Horde. Drones will pour out of Emergence holes in huge numbers to overwhelm their enemies. Drones do not use complex tactics, and instead rely on large numbers to win.

Grenadiers: Grenadiers are not afraid to get themselves killed, as they rush their opponents with their shotguns. Grenadiers are on the same rank as Drones.

Kantus: Kantus are the monks of the Locust Horde. They have the ability to control some of the Hollow's denizens. Kantus can revive fallen teammates, and have a scream that can frighten even the bravest of foes.

Kryll: The Kryll are creatures that stalk Ephyra at night, eviscerating anything that goes in the darkness. Kryll are sensitive to light, and lights like UV rays can buurn them to a crisp. The Kryll breeding grounds were destroyed by the Lightmass Bomb.

Nemacyst: Nemacyst are organic air mines spawned by Seeders that can destroy a King Raven. The most recent incarnation can be fired like artillery. Nemacyst spew a black smog that can block transmissions and the Hammer of Dawn.

Palace Guards: Palace Guards are some of the most elite Locust fighters there are. These are Locust that are specifically chosen to protect the Queen, therefore they must be able to kill anyone who enters the palace.

Reavers: Reavers are the Locusts answer to King Ravens. Reavers are large octopus looking creatures that have a machinegun and a rocket launcher attached to them. Reavers can fly incredibly fast, and can spew out an odd ink when flying that seems to have no adverse effects.

Rockworms: Rockworms are denizens of the Hollow that Locust use for food. Since Rockworm's hides are impervious to gunfire, they can be used as cover for anyone who can guide them via shooting these red glowing fruits from the ceiling. Kantus can also call out Rockworms with their screams.

Seeders: Seeders are large denizens of the Hollow that spew Nemacyst out of their rear. Seeders have the ability to jam radio communication through unknown means.

Snipers: Snipers are Drones that specialize with Longshot rifles. They wear infrared goggles to spot their enemies.

Theron Guards: Therons are some of the most elite of the Locust Horde. Therons are easily distinguishable from other types of Locust due to their robes and Torque Bows. Theron's voices are said to strike fear into most foes.

Theron Sentinels: Theron Sentinels are slightly upgraded Theron Guards.

Tickers: Tickers are small denizens of the Hollow that the locust attach bombs to. Tickers are used as landmines by the Locust and are able to take out Derricks if enough are used.

Wretches: wretches are small denizens of the Hollow that are used like hunting dogs. Wretches usually attack in large packs, where they can swarm their enemies. Wretch's screams can shatter glass and destroy eardrums.

Beast Riders: The Beast Rider is a special kind of Locust Drone that rides on a Bloodmount or a Reaver, and they're also the crew of the Beast Barges.

Bolters: Bolters are Locust with odd medieval style helmets. Bolters are incredibly fast, and they use this to their advantage.

Sires: Sires are experiments in the New Hope Facility. What the Sires are, and their purpose, are unknown.

Cyclops: This type of Drone is stronger then the normal one. It wears a helmet that lets the drone see better, with only one eye hole just like a cyclops. Cyclops are known to chainsaw their opponents.

Flame Grenadiers: Flame Grenadiers are a subclass of Grenadier. Like most Grenadiers, they will attempt to advance, as their Scorcher is only effective at short-medium ranges.

Gunners: Gunners are the Locust that use Troikas.

Hydra: Hydra's are incredibly large subclasses of Reavers. Hydra's have large missile launchers and machineguns on their back. Presumably only Generals are allowed to ride a Hydra.

Lambent: The sworn enemy of the Locust, Lambent Locust are normal Locust infused with Imulsion. The Lambent are the reason the Locust desperately need the surface. Once the Locust reached the surface, they were going to flood the Hollow, killing the Lambent.

Lambent Brumak: A Brumak that Marcus and Dom rode into the Imulsion, ended up getting infected by the Imulsion. It turned into a large, grotesque creature which was highly explosive. After the creature was blasted by a few Hammer of Dawns, it exploded, causing the ocean to flood a good portion of the Hollow.

Riftworm: A worm that is a few miles long. This worm can sink any city the Locust desire. The Locust use it to sink cities around Jacinto so that they can sink Jacinto when the time is right. The Riftworm was awoken by the Lightmass Bomb. After eating eating Delta's King Raven, Delta survive and destroy it's hearts, killing it.

Leviathan: The Leviathan is a monstrous aquatic creature that lives in the massive lake beneath Mount Kadar. When Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago crossed the lake to reach Nexus, they fell under fire by multiple Locust Gunboats. After capturing one, they fell over a massive waterfall. Once at the bottom, the Leviathan, which had been stalking them beneath the water, attacked and killed the two large fish that moved the Gunboat. Marcus determined that they had to kill it from the inside, just like the Riftworm. When the Leviathan bit onto their boat, they forced its mouth open, and threw Bolo Grenades down its throat, killing it.

Torture Barges: Torture Barges are massive creatures that walk on the roof with odd, upside down legs. Their name is self explanatory, as people are tortured, and killed, on them. Tai is one of the many people who was killed on a Torture Barge.

Locust Gun Boats: Locust Gun Boats are found on the lakes inside Mount Kadar. They are propelled by large, eel like fish, these fish seem to be one of the prime targets of the Leviathan.

UNOFFICIAL HUMAN CHARACTERS

COG

Bryan "Brie" Amstogn: When he was a small child Bryan was the son of Keithen, the CEO of the global business NES(New Energy for Sera). Though he was given everything he wanted Bryan did not like the pampered life and ran away after his father yelled a phrase heard by many "Life isn't fair". Bryan didn't believe this. He thought the good shall have it good, and the only reason his father's company was spiraling down was because his father had some bad karma.

Several years of underground life led him out of the country. He was still in basic, being trained as a sniper for a prison, when E-Day shocked the Serans. Pushed into a Raven he fell back to the half ruined city of Ilima, where the COG were fighting heavily for control of the Imulsion pipe lines. Almost seven weeks of fighting in the bombed out, almost completely ruined Industrial sector of the city earned Bryan three hundred and fifty confirmed kills and one hundred twenty three unconfirmed ones.

When he returned from the battle front he joined the "Ghosts of the Past", a group of COG soldiers who only live to avenge the dead. Settling down with a woman named Marcia he had the required four children, and, after being sent up to the front of the action in the grassy plains far North of Jacinto he returned and was enlisted for guard duty. It is unknown if he survived the sinking of Jacinto.

LT. Kaplan, Johnathon M. : When Narx decided to choose an official side in the pendulum wars, John was one of the first to sign up for it. Quickly regarded as one the war's best soldiers, for his sniping capability and the legendary Knight squad.

He led many covert missions against the UIR and other factions. He served with SGT Hammond, LT Steel, Pvt Polvitz. Was awarded the Embry Star for rescuing Col. Ryker from capture during one of the covert missions that went hay wire.

John has a wife, Helen, and two sons, Bryant and Anthony.

General Ryker, Matthew: A proven commander from the pendulum wars, Ryker worked his way up the officer branch. Ryker was regarded as the man that does not rust, as he had occasionally joined his men's missions. Mostly with his friends John, Hammond, and Steel.

When E-Day hit most of the higher command staff was wiped out or MIA leaving him the highest in command. Ryker quickly rallied what troops he could find and managed to lead a successful take back of Nolls during E-Day which led to many lives spared. He appointed Major Thompson as head of defense for Nolls, whom has abbused his power on several occasions. Ryker has since then made himself the head honcho of attacking forces, planning all missions to take back or destroy what is lost form the locust.

Major Thompson, Thomas: Thomas has had no actual combat situations, working mostly with Control during the pendulum wars. Being one of the few higher ups left, he was appointed to make sure the city of Nolls stayed safe. He has numurously abbused his power to jail many citizens and even soldiers such as CPT Steel. He is regarded as one of the sole purposes the people hate the COG.

Sergeant-Major Avery Saunders: When his family moved to Ephyra, Saunders dropped out of school and struck out on his own. Saunders met Raphael Santiago while working for his father. The two joined the military together and became part of the 26th Royal Tyran Infantry. After seeing action in Sarfuth, they fought at Aspho Fields where most of their friends were killed.

Six months after Aspho Fields, Saunders and Raphael fought at San Padrego, where the rest of their friends were killed. They were captured but escaped with the aid of Gunther Ikovitch and were awarded Embry Stars. After quitting the COG, Saunders and Raphael lived in peace until E-Day. They chose not to reenlist and created a militia group known as the 'G Squad', named after Raphael's former gang.

When 'G Squad' became an official squad, most of its men enlisted. Gnasher Squad, though official, did not have a barracks. The squad was at Landown for the pre-battle evacuation, and fought along hot spots in the Battle of Ephyra despite heavy casualties. Eleven years into the war, an energy pulse has gone off near the outskirts of the city. Because of the danger, and because of Gnasher Squad's reputation, the squad has been sent in alone to investigate.

Corporal Raphael Santiago: A high-school dropout like Saunders, Raphael Santiago is the fifth cousin of famed Dominic Santiago, though they are not close.

Raphael avoided the fate of being sent to jail by faking homeschooling for a few years while he worked in his father's auto-repair shop. Here he met Avery Saunders, who was hired by Raphael's father Leo.

The two became good friends. Raphael's father Leo told his son stories of being a Gear, so Raphael naturally gravitated to the military, and took Saunders with him. They were stationed in Sarfuth for a while, fought at Aspho Fields where many of their friends and one of Raphael's cousins were killed, and finally fought in the Battle of San Padrego.

This was Raphael and Saunders' defining moment, and they both earned the Embry Star, though they lost everybody they knew and were themselves captured.

For a time, after quitting the military, Raphael and Saunders knew peace, but E-Day changed all that. Raphael helped reorganize the 'G Squad' mostly from old friends who had been a part of the gang. When it became Gnasher Squad, Raphael did not reenlist and watched his friends drift away from the impromptu milita to join the COG.

Raphael was at Landown when it fell, but only briefly. He fought on the frontline of the Battle of Ephyra, and saw everybody around him die many times over. Now a year later, an energy pulse on the far side of the city reveals a glimmer of hope for the COG, but the suicide mission to find the source of the energy pulse is now the job of Gnasher Squad.

Bill Optus: Complicated childhood, doesn't begin to describe Bill. When Bill was only six his Dad deserted him and his Mom to join the Pendulum Healers, a group of men and women who went around the world helping the survivors.

His Mom killed herself soon after, not being able to face the reality of poverty. Bill was turned into an orphanage. After being jailed and put into a rehabilitation building Bill became religious and held himself up to one of the most rigorous moral codes. E-Day hit and Bill was conscripted by a ruined government.

Bill, haggard from weeks of fighting and not being able to bathe, reached Jacinto with dirt clogged, sweat stained, blood drenched clothes. He also had a scraggly beard, and the first soldier who saw him described him as "A primal man in picture, but the most human person in mind". Several brief stints as a Raven gunmen got him the position of Raven pilot, but he declined and signed up for "The Stream".

This mission followed the real stream and puddles of blood out to Landown. Disease and fighting ravaged the division, but Bill managed to stay alive. He was found crying-he had broken his moral code by using a dead Gear's body as a shield. After this he was promoted to sergeant, but was demoted when he told Hoffman to "Go F*** himself" after Hoffman told him that a few squads of were not as important as a successful mission. The fanfic "Theta Squad:Iron Shield" details from his first mission in his new squad.

Lt. Hews, Johnathon: Hews is an officer that was finally being put into a combat situation to start spreading combat experience amongst officers, his first mission, leading Bravo 1 in recon 11-7 in Chalaza. After being put into fault for the deaths of several gears members, he is relieved of command by Kaplan.

Hews decides to sacrifice himself to stop some of the locust advance on Bravo, and noting that he is not really suited for combat anyway. He dies from suicide by detonating all of his explosives. He has a wife and one child, whom confronts Kaplan back at Nolls demanding to know the truth about his death.

Cpt Hammond, Kenneth: Served with Bryant Kaplan's father in the pendulum wars. He has led many recon and assault missions into Gampton and more recently Chalaza. He was stranded at the Chalaza Imulsion plant but was already recruiting stranded/survivors and making an escape plan before Bravo 1 arrived. After defending the plant from a locust siege, he departs leaving Kaplan with some more squad members.

After the destruction of Nolls, Hammond leads the raids on Chalaza for survivors, supplies and destruction of any missed plants. In part of Operation Insurgence Day, insertion through E-holes, Hammond is one of the first squad in. Later on through exploration they discover that the locusts are still active and also discovers one of the locust breeding centers. He and Bravo 1 disrupt the breeding center, but this leads to the deaths of Hammond's squad and himself, at the hands of Alpha, a abnormal Beserker.

Sergeant B. Pappas : Was Saunders' and Raphael's sergeant in the Pendulum Wars. He threw himself over Saunders and was killed. Nobody ever spoke his first name, presumably because Pappas was embarrassed by it. He had a long track record of medals and heroism.

Tony Rezko: A playwright turned politician, Tony was a junior statesman in the Coalition. To demonstrate that even the wealthy and the politically powerful were a part of the war, he quit politics almost immediately after he jumped in, and joined the army as a private. Became a watchful big brother to Raphael and a good friend to Saunders. Survived Aspho Fields, but was killed at San Padrego while carrying a wounded man out in the open. Not awarded the Embry Star.

Po Fiel: An immigrant with a racially diverse heritage. Part Pesanga, part Mandalayan, and part who-knows-what-else. An accomplished sharpshooter, Fiel became best friends with Saunders and a good friend with Raphael. Survived Aspho Fields but was killed at San Padrego. Not awarded any medals.

Travis Lurch - A stranded man driven to join the cog to ensure his families safety via "Operation Lifeboat". In an abrupt twist the convoy escorting his wife and daughter to jacinto was ambushed, at this moment all members of the convoy are presumed missing or dead. As a man who holds honour and values above all else. Travis decided to endure his hardship and keep his deal with the "devil" in the hope of finding his wife and daughter alive again. Travis is an expert sniper regarded in high standards by the coalition his son fights at his side as his spotter, they are the closest father and son in many respects.

Tyler Lurch -A true asset to his father and the coalition Tyler is a skilled spotter and works alongside his father and echo-seven in a hope of saving the remaining members of his family from the clutches of the locust. The only person Tyler will talk to is his father, the war has shaken him emotionally, even more than it has affected the masses.

Pvt. Rusty Fowler - Always a shining star in the hearts of his squad, rusty never has a dull moment, and tries to keep optimistic at all times. this may be due to his life experiences and being the last living person in his bloodline. He believes life could end at any moment but he will go down fighting, to save the people he cares for.

Pvt. Orlando "Grill" Montana - Grill is a true soldier and if anyone will stand his ground and protect his squad mates at all costs it will be menacing individual. he is a behemoth of a human after part-taking in an experimental steroidal program for most his life in an attempt for COG scientists to create a super-soldier. his nickname “Grill” was given to him by his comrades as his mouth is full
of brass teeth.

Sgt. Henry “Sarge” Reece – Sergeant of Echo-seven, The respect this man deserves is not to be reckoned with. He has been in the coalition since twenty years before E-day and is sixty years old, never has he given in and taken a back-line job the passion for the front-line and close quarter combat is to exhilarating for him often commenting “Without the locust I'd be dead”.

Pvt Snider: A gear straight out of boot camp that was tagged with Bravo 1. He did not get a chance to see combat as he was the first casualty of Bravo 1, being ripped apart by a Troika in a ambush.

Pvt Pulse: The other rookie of Bravo 1. He managed to survive the intial ambush but was killed when he froze up and then finished off by a Troika.

Pfc Marcus: An experienced engineer, part of Bravo 1. He served with Kaplan in past missions and was regarded as a excellent soldier. His participation in Recon 11-7 is cut short when a Gnasher ambushed him and dragged him off while him and Kaplan were taking cover from the Troika

Set - A former COG general, who reluctantly had a bad attitude[worse than Marcus] and he was great friends with Adam Fenix, his signature weapon was a pendulum lancer with locust claws implanted into the stock, he said "F**k the new lancer, i think i'll stick with mine" his secondary weapon was a knife made from the bones of the locust he killed, he retired shortly after hearing the word that Adam Fenix was killed his whereabouts are now unknown, some say he still fights alongside the COG just under an alias and a disguise, some say the locusts captured him, but nobody knows for sure...

Ozz(name inspired by Ozzy Osbourne) - A COG soldier who excelled in all of his training courses and even surpassed Hoffman AND Marcus in his training, he was known to carry around the skulls of locusts he killed as 'trophies' and he was known to be one hell of a sniper pulling off 24 headshots, off a sniper clip of 12. He no longer works for the COG, he works for a secret organization simply named 'SILENT' who plot to rise when the lambent and sires over-run the locusts which should be very, very soon...

Roxia Black - Formerly a member of G squad she was one of the few female COG soldiers, she was best known as the "Harbringer of War" for her bad attitude and tendency to rush into battle with only a pistol and her famed knife "Dragon Fang" she was in Feta squad when Ehkscro attacked, she took her knife Dragon Fang and drove it through Ehkscro's heart thus ending the locusts general's life. She dissapeared shortly after killing Ehkscro to join 'SILENT' along with Ozz.

Luke Valentine - Late sergeant of G squad, who was known throughout the COG universe until Marcus Fenix stepped in, he usually carried around a gun known as 'Firestarter' and it was of course a scorcher, but with a few perks of his picking such as it's distance of the flame and the fact that the fire was so hot it melted not only the locust's skin but their bones as well. He was killed by Aldagrag in battle shortly after his death Roxia rushed into battle and slaughtered Aldagrag.

Carlito Astaphreno - A COG soldier who was famed for being one of the few to survive a Kryll attack in the pitch black due to some kind of scent he had on him that day, he then learned how to control the Kryll with the scent he had on him and he controlled them to kill the locusts but he shortly lost his ability to control them, but not to keep them away. He is a technician and was known to saw his arms and legs off and replace them with metal ones, one arm having a gun, the other a knife and chainsaw. He is very smart and is known to be smarter than Baird. He is in the group 'SILENT' along with Roxia and Ozz.

Damien Wright - War hardened veteran, served in the pendulum wars and went to the same prison as Marcus Fenix, only was released early, for 'good behavior' and no one knows why he was in prison.. he carries around a shotgun and a pistol he says "Their the only two weapons i really need." He is part of 'SILENT'.

Arnold Green - Youngest member of 'SILENT' at 17 he has never served in a war, he used to be a stranded until Ozz decided to take him under his wing, so far his profession is explosives.

Badoa Tasmania - A former stranded leader who joined 'SILENT' for the vengeance of his dead family due to the lambent wretches. He no longer cares whether he lives or dies as he has become hardened inside. He carries around a oversized knife named "Ragnaroth" and his lancer he named "Miranda" in honor of his wife.

Reynold Green - Part of 'SILENT' and older brother of Arnold Green who has an attitude about as bad as Marcus Fenix's, but he always looks out for his little brother, which in fact he's saved his brother's ass several times. He carries around a stolen Hammerburst which i might say he is pretty good with.

Thomas Roald - Formerly sergeant of 'SILENT' group A, was killed in battle by a sniper locust. He was the leader type who carried around a pendulum lancer.

STRANDED

Val Slotter: Not his real name. In short, he's the leader of a band of Stranded.
More detail: He was an overweight 25 year old guy leading a miserable, listless life of retail hell. Then E-Day happened. He took sadistic pleasure in the whole thing at first, but quickly grew up while attempting to survive in the wilderness alone. One day he came across a dead Gear and took his armor and Gnasher. He then stumbles into a camp of Stranded who are starving and desperate, and they sort of elect him as leader, since, "he's a Gear and knows what to do." Slotter has to lead a band of nomadic survivors across the ruins of Sera, though he hasn't a clue what he's doing. He eventually becomes a Godfather-type of character, with mythic power and powerful friends. He founds and operates a Stranded black market, who deal in drugs, food, liquor, prostitutes and other vices. They provide illicit goods and services to Stranded and Cog alike.

Bear: Northman enforcer in the Stranded underground. Travelled south after E-Day and eventually joined Slotter's band of nomads and criminals. He's the strong silent type and the typical Viking badass.

Borrs: Stranded underground hitman and gun runner. He works to arm Stranded both against the Locusts and Cog alike.

Glenn Cohen: Stranded Priest. He was a normal, working class guy until his family were killed on E-Day. He attempted suicide many times but claims he was saved by god and told to preach the good word. He has a heavy limp from injuries sustained on E-day, a roadmap of scars on his wrists from suicide attempts, and an interesting scar across his forehead... he tried to shoot himself, but the bullet ricocheted off the skull and traveled under the skin, across his forehead and out the other side.

Salvatore Ferio: Stranded drug smuggler. He fought in the Pendulum Wars... for the Indies. He's always questioning Slotter's command, and plans a coup.

Melissa Lurch - Recently classed as MIA after an attack on the convoy she wasa part of, heading to jacinto. She is the wife of Travis lurch.

Miranda Lurch - The youngest member of the Lurch family she is only seven years old and has been well educated in the art of survival by her father, sadly she also disappeared with her mother whom suffered the same fate.

Stranded Leader Joe Valentine: Formerly a COG now turned into a stranded due to the fact he wanted to help them maintain a society and protect them from locusts. His brother Luke Valentine was killed in battle and when Joe found out he went on a rampage and he killed every single locust he saw that day, brutally i might add. He then went back into the COG duty shortly to have a heart attack due to massive stress, he now resides in his home in the stranded city.. Will he ever join the COG again? nobody knows..

UNOFFICIAL LOCUST CHARACTERS AND CREATURES

LOCUST

General Theraz (If you're reading my fan fiction, don't read this!!!): Theraz was one the Locust Horde's best warriors. He was related to the enigmatic General RAAM, although it wasn't necessarily something he bragged about.

Theraz was a cunning killer, with precise, tactical strikes. His cloak and helmet were made specifically for the highest ranks of Locust warriors. Theraz has reprtedly killed 500 humans, and his squad, before their death, had a combined kill count of 3000.

Theraz soon started to lead normal hordes of Locust until he traveled to an unknown part of the Hollow where he dicovered a new species. He took a rejected child with him back to Nexus. This creature became known as Sepulchral. Theraz fought many battles alongside Sepulchral, including the battle of Landown, where they captured Landown.

On a raid on Jacinto, Theraz was fighting Humans, when Sepulchral's calming poison ran out. Sepulchral slaughtered the Locust that were there before turning on Theraz. Theraz unleashed 3 Berserkers and a Brumak to face Sepulchral, but they were killed by him. Theraz retreated,with a plan, and Sepulchral caught up and killed him. His loss was a great sadness to the Horde, but his plan worked and sent Sepulchral tumbling hundreds of feet towards the ocean below.

Scarev: Scarev was one of Theraz's lieutenants. Scarev was a brave soldier, who preferred a shotgun over a Hammerburst. Scarev was commonly called "the Rusher" because of his suicidal style of fighting. Scarev had a total killcount of 168 humans. Scarev was torn in half by Sepulchral.

Grognash: Grognash is one of the oldest Kantus. He is one of the smartest Locust there is, after all, he managed to find a poison that a Hollow creature carried, and use it to calm Sepulchral (although it killed normal Locust), he also created the bomb that is planted on Tickers. grognash is a firm believer in the worm gods, and he believes they will lead the Locust to victory in this war. Grognash is an old friend of Theraz, and will help Theraz with anything, including his dilemma with Sepulchral. He along with Salar and Redzar, formed the "Temple of Worms". They are always found squabbling amongst each other.

Salar: Salar is the youngest of the three Kantus. Salar is the most sarcastic of the three, and loves a pratical description, moreso than a "description without meaning".
Salar is the least talkative of the three, and rarely communicates with Theraz, unless necessary.

Redzar: Redzar is the second in command for the "Temple of Worms". Redzar is Grognash's brother, and another firm believer in the worm deities. Redzar believes that with Skorge guiding the Riftworm, the Locust will prevail. Redzar is more of a fighte than the other two, and will kill anyone who intrudes upon the Temple.

Cyrus: A Theron Sentinel whom commands respect of his fellow brethren and holds a deep hatred for the humans. Not very well known through the hollow Cyrus is often the Ghost of his horde, not wishing to take credit for most missions but instead choosing to give most of the credit to his brothers, without them he would be alone. Not to say that's a bad thing... the Theron often likes the silence of his barracks or after a slaughter on the battle field it is also believed he holds somthing special for the queen in his heart. Prone to bursts of Rage and psychotic behavior Cyrus is most definitely not quite right in his head, a secluded if not complex Theron Sentinel.

Zaach - Zaach is member of the elite Locust faction known as "The Soul Killers" He was once a mere drone in the Locust army, unimportant and disposable, but after being left for dead, he was rescued by the Soul Killers and trained to fight with them, he quickly excelled to the higher ranks and aided them in their crusade to fight the Cog. Zaach himself is smart, resourceful and strong willed, though he often lets the safety of others be his main priority, rather than the objective at hand.

Hakar - Hakar is and has always been the leader of the Soul Killers, he is a brave, hot tempered and terrifying figure in the battlefield. Hakar is the only surviving Son of General RAAM, the Locusts most powerful leader, when word of his death reached The Soul Killers. Hakar became blood drunk and consumed with revenge, although thanks to Zaach and the others, Hakar managed to control his rage and continue to lead the Soul Killers to victory against "Project Saviour", an experimental attempt by the humans to make super soldiers.

Onwa - The 2nd in command of the Soul Killers, Onwa is Hakar's right hand man and best friend, the two are believed to have survived more battles than any other Locust in the hollow. Onwa is a quick, clever and cunning Soul Killer who often suggests the tatics for Hakar to order. Onwa is known for missing his left eye, during a raid on a Cog base, Onwa attempted to save a comrades life, but failed and lost his eye to a stray bullet, this never fazed him however, thus Onwa continues to serve the Soul Killers with an iron fist.

Sauvix: The long suffering medic of the Soul Killers, Sauvix is sarcastic, cynical and bad tempered. He hates the war, seeing it as just a pointless excuse to kill one another, he also has a hatred of new recurits or "Rookies". Despite this, Sauvix is highly inteligent and has a vast amount of knowledge of the surface world, his medical skills are flawless, as every soldier he has treated has survived to live another day.

Taus: Not much is known about the Soul Killers Scout and Sharpshooter, mainly because Taus prefers to keep to himself, speaking only when spoken too, he is a skilled marksman and can score a headshot on a Cog without looking, he once suffered a bullet to the neck, and keeps the bandage on as a reminder never to let your guard down.

Krall: Fast, nimble and deadly. Three choice words to describe Krall, once a rockworm hunter, now a conscript of the Soul Killers. Krall refuses to use guns in combat, as he sees melee combat as a true sign of courage, thus he goes into battle armed only with his chainsaw staff, which he uses with superb skill.

Braahk: Enlisted to add support for the Soul Killers heavier missions, Braahk is a giant of a Grinder, armed with his own mulcher, he can mow down an entire legion of Cogs with ease and does it with a confident smile on his face as well.

Torgr: The newest member or "Neophyte" of the Soul Killers, Torgr is shy, nervous and generally unconfident, Torgr looks up to his mentor, Taus, and hope's that he overcomes his fears and become a true Soul Killer. One fact that he is often ridiculed for is that he believes in the stories of the "Leviathan"

General Arbiter: A reknowned locust general in Narx and its surrounding nations. He was the one that planned and executed "blackout" of Narx. He is also the one that organizes an assault on Nolls. Which is thwarted, by numourus factors;they deactivated several plants and retrieved a lot of vehicles and heavy weapons for combat. Arbiter was killed when he faces Kaplan and challenges him to a duel;his sword against Kaplan's chainsaw, which ends in Arbiter getting mortaly wounded and then beaten to death for being the one that took Kaplan's brother. He stands tall at about 8 feet, has large eyes with no eye lids and the capability to see in more than one direction. He is palish and bears resemblence to RAAM.

Gresh: One of the Therons that assisted Theraz in the assault on Jacinto. Gresh feared Sepulchral, but trusted Theraz's judgement. Gresh is secretly Theraz's son. Gresh lost two of his friends to Sepulchral in the assault. He was killed when the COG blew up the Lambent Brumak.

SKARGE: Skarge is a former Palace Gaurd turned Lambent, he used to be the Queen's elite guard. His history is unknown, other then he seems to know, or have some kind of connection to the "Terror" or better known as Sepulchral. There have also been unconfirmed reports saying that he has blood ties to Genral RAAM. He leads an elite group of Palace Gaurds, that used to protect the Queen, and her palace, until a fierce battle between him and Lambent...in the end, he turned Lambent, and now vow's revenge against the Queen for her "betrayal".

Finger Puppets- Finger Puppets is an exiled Kantus, who doesn't remember his own name. He was exiled from the Hollows due to him, going a bit crazy. (He acts a lot like the Joker from Dark Knight). He has been captured by both COG and Locust dozens of times but always managed to break free. And leaves quite a bloody mess behind him. Finger Puppets has the power of Speechcraft. Able to corrupt Humans and Locust alike with his words and poisons. This is where he got his Nickname ''Finger Puppets''. There are rumors that he can even revive the dead to fight for him...

Ehkscro - Another general for the Locust army who stood taller than Raam and he was one of the few locusts who could manipulate the Kryll to make him fly up in the air. He was known for his great strength and cocky attitude, he had a giant boomshoot looking gun that could fire explosives as well as bullets with just a change of ammo, his secondary weapon was a giant scythe he carried around on his back and he killed several hundred cog in a mere 2 hours. He was also known to be a loner and unfortunately that was his demise, he assaulted the COG group Xavier, it was an ambush where Feta squad and Xavier squad took him down leaving 3 people injured and 2 men killed.

Aldagrag - A locust grenadier who had himself built up like a freight train, he was known for his shotgun made from COG tags he took from the COG's he killed, shortly after killing the infamous Luke Valentine he was brutally murdered by Roxia.

Locust Horde/Creatures of the Horde

Leapers: Agile, odd looking, Locust that hop from wall to wall, or even ground to roof, depending on the scenario. They are a little smaller than a Drone, and they carry a weapon called the Shredder, a machinegun pistol with a bayonet.

Evisceraters(sp?): Large Boomers that wield an Imulsion spewing weapon called the Devastator. Eviscerators massive size allows them to uproot surrounding objects, such as small trees or a pillar, and use it as a shield.

Locust Commanders: RAAM sized Locust who lead groups of Locust into battle. They have a specialized helmet to signify leadership. Locust Commanders give a morale boost to nearby Locust, making them shoot better, and do more damage. They wield a weapon called the General's repeater, which is a more accurate, and more powerful Hammerburst.

Burrowers: Burrowers are small wormlike creatures with scythes for hands. They explode from the ground without warning (causing **** your pants moments) and slash at their prey, until there is only chunks of meat left.

Alpha: A berserker with the unusual gift of sight and intelligence. She is capable of herding more Berserkers together for breeding. She is willing for this operation of the locust, recognizing the need to repopulate the hollow. She is identified as giving birth to speacial locust such as General Arbiter.

She spots Hammond's team, much to their surprise, which sends her into a rage and kills his entire team and finally Hammond. She later chases after Bravo 1 and Kaplan manages to lead her into a trap incapacitating her in a pit, but is moments later dispatched by a rocket launcher by Kaplan himself to ensure she will not be getting up after being left to bleed out for vengence of Hammond's death.

Hakrill: Insanely smart Locust. They know anything you can expect to know about humans, and maybe more. They have the ability to hack computers, and decipher the human language perfectly. Hakrills are tall and slender like a Kantus, but much easier to kill, if you can outwit them.

CREATURES

Sepulchral (Don't read this if you're reading my fan fiction!!): Sepulchral was a genetic defect of a previously unknown species. His parents attempted to kill him, thinking he was a different creature. They then buried him in a wall, where Theraz and his miners later found him.

After years of examination, Sepulchral was used as a weapon by the Locust. The Kantus developed special weapons and poisons to calm him down so he not go feral, like after the first attack he assisted the Locust on. By this point in time Sepulchral was a massive creature, standing twelve feet tall, 17 at the tip of his largest spike.

Sepulchral was a deadly, powerful, devastating creature in the Locust arsenal. But Sepulchral was different than most other Hollow creatures, he was incredibly intelligent, for a creature, that is. During the assault on Landown, Sepulchral slaughtered over half the city himself, murdering countless civilians.

The Kantus noticed that Sepulchral was constantly growing, which could be dangerous, because they would need more poison, and more Locust to hold the chains on his arms to keep him back. During the assault on Jacinto, the Kantus failed to give Sepulchral enough poison, and he went feral mid assault. He slaughtered all the Locust on his side, before charging after Theraz.

His currently 25+ foot frame was smashing the land bridge they were on with each step. Theraz noticed that the bridge was growing weaker. To slow Sepulchral down, he uneleashed three Berserkers snd a Brumak, but all of them were killed by Sepulchral's superior strength, and weapons. Sepulchral caught up and killed Theraz. after realizing what he'd done, Sepulchral nudged Theraz with his nose, when he did not move, Sepulchral reared up and let out a mighty, hellish roar. But the bridge had had enough, and it shattered beneath his weight, sending him crashing to the sea below.

Gnasher: Native to tropical/temperate shore lines and forestry. Sera's crocodillian. The Gnasher was the inspiration for the Gnasher shotgun, big mess/tiny pieces. Gnashers have large thick scales that grow tougher with age, making them near impervious to standard firearms by 6 months. Gnashers have a exposed lobe betweeen the eyes that serves as both a powerful asset and weakness. The lobe is able to take in scents and noises which can pin point prey without them having their eyes open. The lobe can also substitute for gills.The lobe can also take the color surrounding it to blend in with the background to hide itself for protection and ambush, it is rumored that the Jack cloaking device was based off the Gnasher's method of "cloaking". The lobe however is a weakness as it is direct exposure to the brain and nerves, while only a little is exposed a single pistol round can even be fatal if shot directly into the lobe.

The Gnasher can give birth to 20-40 eggs, all with thick outer shells. Upon hatching the babies give off a scent that tends to block the lobe's ability to find them, increasing the likely hood of survival as cannibalism is occasional amongst the speacies.

Gnashers have a quick growth rate that slows down sometime after its first year, but by then it is already 25 feet long. The extent of how long a Gnasher can grow is unmeasurable as they continue to grow as long as they live.
Their longevity also varies as the Gnasher can sometimes succumb to diseases that are genetic or be hunted down due to some areas having a population control on them.

The Gnasher natural color is usually greenish-blue. Gray is a rare color amongst them and its hide is said to carry a hefty price tag, but these are usually the biggest of the Gnashers. The Gnasher has six fingers/toes all clawed that are used to scale tough terrain, they have been known to scale building walls. A year old Gnasher can easily jump 20 feet out of the water and have been known to pounce prey outside of the water. The Gnasher jaw is full of an assortment of teeth that ranges from dagger like to triangular to sawed. The crushing force of a one year old Gnasher is 12,000 pounds per square inch. The gnasher diet ranges from small fish to large cattle to Gnashers and everything in between. Death from Gnashers are very uncommon all around Sera but there are no records of someone ever surviving a attack.

Baskan Wolf: Native to Baska and other cold mountainous areas surrounding Baska. The Baskan wolf height is 4 feet, the length is any where from 6-8 feet. Most wolves travel in packs and are similar(to actual wolves). Baskan wolves are generally docile towards humans and only attack when provoked or starving. The Baskan wolf is however still an incredibly aggressive animal. They can only be domesticated if raised from a pup(birth-2 months old). The baskan wolf has an extremely keen sense of smell able to track from one mile away. There are accounts of larger baskan wolves but are considered extremely dangerous and are to be avoided at all costs.

Drogsash: The Drogsash are 5 foot long, 8 legged snakelike lizards that reside in the Hollow. Drogsash have a poison in their body that is strong enough to kill a Theron, anything bigger, will have differing effects. Drogsash are relatively harmless, and prefer to hide within small crevasses and holes/caves, than run around in the open. Kantus have found a way to lure a Drogsash out of hiding, to extract their poison for research. It is said the poison calms you, before causing your neural systems to fail.

Gentow- (pronounced Jento): A giant elephant type of animal, it has a long truck like nose, that is protected by spikes running along the sides of the nose. The ears on the animal are sharply contracted, meaning that they are very pointy in shape. There are also some varations between the female version and the male version, males have no tale and are the more agile of the two. While the female has a long tail, and it is vary aggresive towards other animals/people who get to close to it's young. The average Gentow weights between 500 to 700 pounds. Also the Gentow has tusks, that are razor sharp, so that they can hunt for their prey. Their diet usually contains other animals that are smaller, or bigger than them. As for defence against other hunters, they have a thick layer of skin, that contain tiny blades that pop up once the animal is engaged in a conflict. There are also many varations of colours....black, grey and the most common, brown.

Weazers- The Weazer, a small lemur type of animal that get's it's name from the weezing noise it makes, when provoked. The Weazer is an animal that is about 4 feet tall, and can weigh up to 7 pounds. It is small, but at the same time deadly. Their appearence may vary on what part of Sera you are in, for example, the Berrerio Mountains Weazer has a white fur coat to blend into the snow, and attack un-suspecting creatures. And it's cousin, the Willow forest Weazer, contains a pattern of camoflauge colors like green, brown, and black, to blend in with the habitat. They are known to travel in packs and are always on the lookout for campers who leave food unwatched. When hunting, they pounce on their prey, sometimes the whole herd can lay waste to one Gentow. They are carnivorus and devour meat. (Habitat's contain bones from leftover prey) Attacks on Humans are rare, but it can happen.

UNOFFICIAL LOCUST AND CREATURES PART 2

LOCUST

High Marshall Vardunn: Brutal, cold, merciless and never regretting his orders, Vardunn was born to an unloving father, none other than General RAAM himself. Born with the hard and tough skin, and snarling expression of a Grenadier, RAAM was disgusted by him for some reason and told no one that they were related. Trained by RAAM brutally and without mercy, Vardunn became a powerful and very savage soldier, leading many violent and successful attacks from the front lines. Always loyal to the Queen and unquestioning even after his father's death at the hands of the Ground-Walkers, Vardunn led the counter-attack on Landown after Skorge had left.
However, he was supposedly killed when he was attacked by SCARS agent Captain Treyarch Ras on top of a Beast Barge. Vardunn had been preparing captured Gears for torture and interrogation when he was jumped by the Ground-Walker assassin. They engaged in a chainsaw duel and High Marshall Vardunn fell off the Beast Barge, into a pool of imulsion. Instead of dieing, he emerged from the imulsion, crawling towards dry land. He had become infected and without a second thought, joined the Lambent and led the attack on Nexus, vowing to personally kill the Queen. It is unknown if he is the leader of the Lambent, though it can be deducted that he is a high-ranking officer in the Lambent Rebellion.
Vardunn is large, almost as large as RAAM. Dressed in the armor of a grenadier Elite, with a cape and a helmet. He wields a deadly and custom made Chainsaw axe, as well as a Hammerburst with a chainsaw bayonet attached to it. He also has two Boltok Pistols strapped to him.

Alderon Smith - A locust sniper raised by humans, unlike his brothers he has no hatred towards humans. He always carries around a sniper rifle which seems to be the only weapon he uses because his human father gave him the sniper rifle because of the special bullets it used which was made from explosives and imulsion. He was known to be the most intelligent and speech capable locust other than the queen, although he is capable of using a normal locust voice for his duties. He is currently a spy for 'SILENT' and is working in what is left of the hollow after it got flooded out.

Muamyom(MWAM-YOM) - Locust Grenadier Elite who doesnt carry around a shotgun, instead carries around a boomshot and a gorgon pistol, he is one of the fastest and strongest Grenadier Elites in the hollow, he is known to take the eyes of people he kills and make necklaces from them he is also very smart but not very speech compatible so he uses sign language to get his message across to the queen.

Brokenface - A locust drone who was known to survive 18 sniper shots to the head from the COG forces which hence his name 'Brokenface'. He currently is working on rebuilding the hollow with the rest of the drones. He carries around a COG lancer along with a boltok pistol.

Artex- A drone who joined the ranks of the horde two years before E-day, he aspires to be a higher ranked locust and is dissapointed when his bunkmate, Xythrax, gets promoted and he does not.

Narborgir: Narborgir is a massive general who survived the Great Flood. He is eleven feet of pure Locust savagery. Narborgir wields a Hammer of Dawn, a Mortar, and an Obliterator. Narborgir has killed countless humans, and he was once part of Theraz's squad. He believes in the Great Extinction Plan, which he will go to any length to complete.

High Priest Anetao- (An-ne-tay-oh) Anetao has been one of the High Priests for as long as anyone can remember, and probably one of the most smartest of them all. Anetao is unusually more muscular then ordinary Kantus, he is silent, very Intelligent, and is Incredibly skilled with a Pistol. His skills also lie in Fire Support, Field Command, and Tactical Advising. He has been having second thoughts about the war for several years. A homicidal genocide was just wrong, no matter how much the Humans were hated. He wants to speak to the Queen of this, but is afraid it could mean his death. Several have tried, they all have failed. Now he is deciding: Should he speak to the Queen of this, or do nothing at all?

Bvargherd (pronounced Bw var gad)- the leader of the infamous locust torture kings who break every imprisoned human until the brink of psychosis, Bvargherd has a soul of a serpent and a body of that of a boomer, his armour a mix between brass, gold and human bone which over torure kings wear although he wears a ritualistic headdress covered with human skulls and jewelry he has stolen from his prisoners. He is by far the largest of all the boomer species. he has two infamous weapons in-which he uses to finish of any unlucky human or locust who stands in his way, his Grind Knuckles which are like knuckle-dusters but bigger and have a grinding mechanism which pulls in flesh and crunches bone but there are only used for close quarters he owns a full sized Bvartorque-bow which is a comparison to the length of a Cog's entire body, he can shoot 3 torque grenade arrows at one time, even though he is a torture king, the queen has used him in large battles throughout the war all battles he has joined have been won by the locust. (he was the one of the leaders of the army that took landown)

Brother Markon: A high ranking Kantus Monk and the Queen's Aide-de-camp. Markon is a holy and Religious Monk who worships the Worm Goddess T'Chark and wishes for the war to end peacefully, he sometimes questions the queens ideas about the war, wondering if she knows what exactly she is doing, he also has a slight sceptic view on her Soul Killers, despite this, he still trusts them both.

Brother Nushik: Another Kantus Monk, Brother Nushik foresaw the arrival of the Lambant and that they would dominate the hollow, even after the humans flood it with their sacrificed Jacinto. He quickly went insane and fled to the surface. The Soul Killers found him at Landown graveyard, where he attempted to convince them to stay on the surface and survive, but the Soul Killers didn't understand him. Overcome with sorrow and insanity, Nushik shot himself in the head.

Brother Haden- One of Anetao's most trusted Kantus Comrades. Haden is the complete opposite of Anetao. He talks quite a lot, is incredibly energetic, and always seems to get into trouble. Haden now works on the Queens personal staff, working as one of her Advisers. He agrees with Anetao, saying that the Humans should be respected as both a Race and an enemy, and wants the war to end as well. Haden has dozens of contacts spread out on the surface and the Hollows, so he can obtain and spread information very quickly.

Commander Skaara- Skaara knew Anetao since they were young, and became great friends. Skaara is one of the Theron Commanders, just a rank away from Theron General. He is always looking out for Anetao, and is always there to aid him. Skaara is also on the Queens staff, he works both as a Captain of the Palace Guard and a Commander of the Theron Corps. He understands the need to take the surface, and will fight till his dying breath to take it for the Queen.

General Berithk - of all the Locust Generals, probably the most ruthless and efficient was Berithk. The oldest and one of the highest-ranking of the Queen's Generals, he helped orchestrate E-Day, was the creator of the Landown Siege Plan, orchestrated the Landown Siege with the help of several other higher-ups, and was soley responsible for the Locust victory in the Battle of Ephyra. What made Berithk truly deadly was his uncanny ability to know almost exactly what the next step his enemy would take, his brilliant mind, and his easy delegation amongst the rest of his officers. Though he sometimes led from the front-line, Berithk rarely took full credit for his victories, being both a cunning general and a cunning politician. Berithk trained many Locust officers, the most notable being RAAM, one of his best Theron Sentinels whom he personally recommended for the position of General. RAAM is known to have fashioned himself after Berithk, even wearing the same style of black armor. General Berithk, however, was not immortal, and when the energy pulse shook Ephyra a year after his brilliant victory, he took it upon himself to hunt down the troublesome Gnasher Squad. Immediately after this, Berithk disappeared from the COG Intelligence Database, and no record has been seen of him since; it is rumored that he was killed in battle against Gnasher Squad and the Stranded Coalition. Wielded a chainsaw sword in the Battle of Ephyra and the Energy Pulse Incident. Took trophies from his personal kills, including a human skull.

Lok'gar: Lok'gar was an extremely well known Kantus who leaded a small cult of kantus.
He believed that his purpose was not to reach the surface, but to reach the core of Sera, although the queen and her followers thought differently.
This resulted in Lok'gar and his people being banished to an unwanted area of the hollow, and has not been heared of since. It is rumored that he plans to create lambent rockworms to help him dig to the centre of the planet.
It is rumored that in battle, he wields massive wrist blades on each arm.
He is swift, agile and powerful..... possibly even more so than Skorge.
His scream is said to have special prowess, as enemies have been left babbling to themselves in the middle of the battlefield.....

Commander Mustlar: The Supreme Commander of the Palace Guards. Mustlar is a brutal killer who travels in his own torture barge, Mustlar takes great pleasure in torturing captured Cogs, hundreds of stories about his torture methods are spread throughout the hollow, making him a scary figure in both Human and Locust eyes.

Mustlar appears unwell, he has been said to have a sick cough for several days, flaring up after the Riftworm sinking operations begun, he claims it will clear up, but others are doubtful.

Chimera - Chimera is a Theron Guard that ranked up from a Droid to a Theron pretty quickly. He is one of the most intelligent, and strategical Locust you'll meet. His personality is so much different from a Blood Thirsty Brute. He loves to play with his enemies, and would always finish his enemy off.

Zeta - He is a Theron Sentinel that is Chimera's childhood friend. He is just like Chimera, but without the childish personality. He is very serious when it comes to fighting, and missions. He totally despises COGS.

LOCUST HORDE/CREATURES OF THE HORDE/LAMBENT

Lambent Bloodmount: The Lambent Bloodmounts are a bigger varation of their counterparts, the regular Bloodmounts. They tend to be a lot more violent, and seem to have a bloodthirst for any Locust/Human...except for a Locust that is infected with the Lambent strain. (Not much is known about them beacuse they do not appear from the deep caverns in the Hollows, only reports of them are being claimed)

BloodHounds: BloodHounds are dog like creatures that the Locust use for their assault on the people of Sera. They are atleast 4 feet tall, and are thick in structure. They wear special helmets that the Locust keep on them, and make them even more of a threat. The helmets are very hard, and can resist most small arms fire. The hemets contain specified lenses, to protect the Hound's eyes, Hounds are known to cower in direct sunlight, meaning that they are only unleashed during the night. But the Kryll used to stop that from happening, and with the Kryll out of the way, the Locust use them as freely as they please. BloodHounds are used to raid resting COG/Stranded outpost's in the night. The BloodHounds are a fierce type of creature that have sharp teeth, strong enough to penetrate metal. Their eyes are known to glow a shade of red during the night, but this just may be the lenses. They have needle like fur that is sharp and dangerous to the simple person, but to Locust they are the perfect dart's. There have been reports coming in, that they unleash a howl that has sent many of the toughest soldiers in a frenzy of fear. Attacks have grown over the past few months...and it is certain that they will continue.

Torture King (boomer-type) - these boomer's are led by King Bvargherd and keep the torture camps in check, and treat humans like rats. they enjoy hitting humans with their chain-whips which rip a humans bodies to pieces with their three flails. (look at tai's back)

Lambent Captain: Clad in all black armour and a black visor that shines a bright yellow through the eye slot. The Lambent Captain's are excellent strategists, preforming tactics such as flanking, sneak attacks, ambushes and lures. They lead their troops into battle against the humans and the locust with ruthless efficiency. They also seem to prefer using the Lancer Assault Rifle, rather than the Hammerburst.

Lambent Drone: Exiles of the hollow, cursed with imulsion infection. These diseased soldiers will charge into battle with whatever they can find and crush anything foolish enough to stand in their path.

Lambent Grenadier: Lambent Grenadiers prefrom the same tactics as the regular Locust Grenadier, the main diffrence being that these Lambent soldiers appear more suicidal than their regular counterparts, they will even fling themselves off high drops to destroy the opposition.

Lambent Mauler: A recent sighting suggests that even Maulers are succumbing to the imulsion sickness. All that is known of them is that the Lambent use them as living battering rams, knocking down the walls of Locust cities and allowing the Lambent troops to charge in and dominate.

Bvargherd Rock Riders - These are kantus priest, who work as security for the torture camps. They ride rockworms that have been domesticated and trained to be ferocious to anyone who crosses their paths (COG or escaping prisoners), as all other kantus they can spawn tickers for aid in battle. As for weaponry, they use a adapted version of the hammer-burst which has a grenade launcher attached, they use this to wreak havoc on any unsuspecting enemy.

CREATURES

Frabrel - A locust creature? or a COG creature? nobody knows for sure all they know is that it is blood thirsty and it will stop at NOTHING to get it's target. Over 10 feet tall and a body like a truck with blood red eyes and pale whitish green skin with giant claws and teeth up to 14" long nobody can defeat this behemoth only seen once by Ozz devouring an entire locust squadron Ozz's response "We HAVE to get the hell out of here!, but damn.. i want that skull.." shortly after that his entire squad got murdered by Frabrel all except for Ozz, Ozz managed to escape due to the fact the Frabrel was pre-occupied trying to kill a Brumak barehanded. Nobody knows when we will see Frabrel next...

SpearSnake: SpearSnake's are natives to Sera's waters. These Snake like creatures have black leathery skin with a dark yellow belly and blood red eyes, they are also a few miles long and lurk beneath the waters of Sera's lakes and rivers, waiting for the right moment to strike their prey. SpearSnakes are hostile to both Humans and Locust and will devour whichever one crosses their paths first.

Zenrathian Worde Larva: Large insects that have a giant hive underneath Zenratha. The Larva are large, fat, bulbous insects that have a habit of clogging Zenratha's drains. Larva have been known to attack humans, although this is extremely uncommon. The Larva Den is heavily protected, and the Queen will constantly stand guard over her children.

Zenrathian Worde Drone: Drones are human sized insects that fly about the underground hive. They perform important tasks, such as: protecting the breeding chamber, gathering food, protecting from attackers, and mating with the Queen. Drones are the most commonly seen of the Worde species, and are even found in "attack squads".

Zenrathian Worde Soldier: Soldiers are the largest of the common Wordes. Soldier Wordes are viscious and ruthless, and can take a beating before going down. Soldiers have been known to attack Stranded groups, and carry off survivors into the hive as food for the Larva. Soldiers form the main backbone of the Worde army, and will protect their Queen with their lives.

Zenrathian Worde Queen: The Queen is the largest of all the Wordes, rumoured to reached lengths of over 200 feet. The Queen can produce up to 1000 eggs per day, although she needs food to replenish the weight she loses doing this. The Worde Queen has killed countless humans, generally those foolish enough to enter her lair. Others, are brought in. The Queen has been said to have nearly as much intelligence as a normal human, but so far, this is just speculation.

Supremes - Like Sires only bigger and more badass, they were thought to be a boomer mixed with human genetics to create a super soldier, but upon further examination we now know it is a grenadier\drone\sniper mixed with human genetics and imulsion to create these behemoths. They don't carry around a weapon because their claws are up to 2 feet long and they have a tendency to bite people.....

Atrean- An ancient race that had once reigned Sera with Men. But through greed and superiority, Men had forced the Atrean race into the brink of extinction. The Atrean were a proud Reptilian-Race, that had once lived on the plains and forests of Sera, until men forced them into the Swamps. There, the Atrean Thrived for hundreds of years, disturbed by nothing, until the Locust-Human war. COGs and Locust forces had tried to take control over the swampland's resources but were unable too. The Atrean and Native Creatures attacked and killed most of them. But few fell victim to the Swamp's Bogs and diseases. The Atrean, how ever, had lived in the swamps for years and were able to coordinate within the swamp incredibly well, making them masters in Guerilla warfare, stealth, hunting, and greatly improved their sense of direction. Due to this, warning signs were placed by the Cog, simply stating ''Here be monsters''. The Humans barely have any knowledge of the Atrean race now, since the Historical Archives in Jacinto was burnt to the ground, due to Locust Raids. But the Locust on the other hand, learned quite a lot of the Atrean through captured ''specimens''. The Atrean Technology is that of the Late-Medieval Ages, But they also have a large stockpile of COG and Locust weapons and equipment. Through trial and error, Atrean Engineers have developed a sturdy Bolt-Action rifle that can operate in any condition. While developing their own technology with Human and Locust things, the Atrean have become good problem fixers. They love to fix things, so most of their modified Tech has next to no flaws.

Jerod Kane- One of the Atrean Commanders. Jerod and his family were captured by Locust and was experimented upon, his family was killed in an experiment, but he survived. After several pain-enduring experiments, Jerod manged to escape and killed a Locust General in the Process. Instead of returning to the swamps and to his people, Jerod is now driven by the taste of revenge. He will not rest until he has the Queens head as a War Trophy. UNOFFICIAL HUMAN CHARACTERS PART 2

COG

Captain Treyarch Ras: Treyarch and his younger brother Daniel are the only known survivors of the Tyran royal family. At 18 he enrolled into the Pendulum Wars, and was an exceptional soldier. He was especially skilled at infiltration, stealth and assassination, due to being trained by Pesengas Hill-Soldiers in his youth. In fact, he was so good at this that he was secretly enrolled into the newly formed special ops group known as SCARS or Special Covert Advanced Recon Scouts. The job of the SCARS were to infiltrate behind enemy lines and do various things, such as gaining intelligence for the COG on where and when to strike, eliminating high-ranking marked UIR officers and sabotaging facilities and secret bases.
Trey had been returning home to Jacinto when Emergence Day happened and he was stuck behind enemy lines. Not arriving in time when the Hammer of Dawn satellites were used to wipe out the cities, he luckily survived and has returned secretly to COG headquarters, and has been ordered by Colonel Hoffman to reform the SCARS unit. Now, his job is to find as much information about the Locust as he can, going deep into the Hollow to learn their strategies, their whereabouts, their very way of living.
Treyarch Ras is equipped with a cape and a special, light-weight model of the COG armor that is quieter and more agile, though also weaker. He also has a special eye patch that incorporates night-vision, infra-red and other modes though both his eyes still work. His armor and cape also contain crude and experimental stealth technology similar to what the JACK bots use, letting him cloak and hide from enemies, though it works best when he isn't moving and will short out when shot at or attacked in any way. He uses a Longshot Sniper Rifle with a silencer attached and a Lancer.
He has dark orange hair and a short rough beard due to being underground for long periods of time, tanned skin and is tall and very muscular.He is in his early forties.

Daniel Ras: The younger brother of SCARS agent Treyarch Ras, Daniel enrolled when he was old enough to be like his brother. Though not as good a soldier as his older brother, he was still a fine soldier, and when Emergence Day came, he and Bravo Squad bravely fought off the Locust long enough for evacuees to flee to Jacinto and begin the satellite bombing. Now though fourteen years into the war and despite the apparent death of his brother, Daniel still has a happy and friendly attitude, cynical and sarcastic but not considered an asshole. During Operation Hollow Storm, he and Bravo Squad successfully infiltrated the Inner Hollow and participated in the attack on Nexus, where he finally met his brother once again.
He has tanned skin and lighter, more fiery orange hair when compared to his brother. Tall and muscular, and with a well shaved face, Daniel is in his thirties.

Paul Gerhart: Former Captain in the Pendulum wars, Paul retired early to live with his family before losing them on E-Day. Considered crazy for working with orphaned kids and lost causes, but raised some of the finest COG soldiers as his own sons. Has nothing left to live for, save the destruction of the Locust.

Eric Valance: Expert sniper from a young age, Eric consistently impresses every COG soldier he works with. Silent, deadly, and a master survivalist, Eric nonetheless bears the mark of psychological trauma. Married young, and lost his wife on E-Day, though he has kept the story close to his chest for a while.

Jace Torren: A hardened veteran, Jace served with Eric in the Pendulum Wars, where both men were trained early by Paul. Jace witnessed his brother's murder early in his life. His shotgun is feared, and he wields it skillfully.

Kade "Rage" Barker - 'SILENT' general, with a bad attitude and a big gun to top it off. He simply doesn't take crap from anybody, not even his own team mates. He carries around a standard lancer and of course 'Devistator' his giant minigun that not only fires bullets, but also fires live bolo grenades. He is currently gathering more members for 'SILENT'.

Lieutenant Pierce: A soldier of the Cog secertly working on "Project Saviour" an experimental program to build super soldiers to combat the last Locust. Pierce was a sly and cunning soldier and was an expert in hand to hand combat, he was believed to have slayed a Soul Killer that attempted to kill him years ago. Pierce engaged in a fight with the Soul Killer Zaach, where Pierce lost and had one of his eyes cut out. He managed to escape, but his current whereabouts are unknown. (Fan fic Revival)

Dr Solomon: A scientist working alongside Pierce on "Project Saviour" Solomon had doubts about the project, fearing it was not ready to be revealed to Sera, he attempted to flee from the Soul Killers when they broke into the base of operations, but he was captured by them, since he knew he would die, he shamfully revealed infomation about Project Saviour and the bunker the test subjects were stored in, he was swiftly killed by Zaach. Pvt Stuart (Stewie) G. Griffin - The last surviving member of the Griffin family. On E-day, he just got over mourning the loss of his dog, Brian. He was 8 years old on that fateful day. Then, he watched in horror as his whole family was slaughtered by the locust horde. Everyone except his brother Chris, who was out on duty as a police officer. Stuart later met up with Chris, who would help escort him to Jacinto. On the way there, COG soldiers shot Chris, mistaking him for a Boomer. They apologized to Stuart, who was crying uncontrollably over the loss of his last relative. 10 years later, he completed basic and became a Gear. He's physically frail, more brains than brawn. He is also fond of men AND women alike. His main job was to build weapons of mass destruction. Occasionally, he is sent out to the battlefield to fend off locust. He is quite skilled with a variety of COG technology, from guns to vehicles. But on Operation Hollow Storm, he was sent to the Hollow to study the locust, as well as kill them.

Cpl. Taylor A. Coles (M.D.) : Taylor was born into a normal life in his hometown of Jacinto. His father was a military man who didn't want the same life for his son, keeping him as far away from the military as possible. Coles ended up becoming a doctor, working at the Jacinto Hospital. He was extremely talented, a promising young doctor destined to do great things. However, on E-Day, Locust attacked the hospital, and Taylor fought alongside Gears to defend it. After seeing all the people dying, and all those he himself treated at the hospital, he deceided to join the COG to fight the Locust, and ensure the safety of his town, and his race. After Jacinto was sunk, he started doubting his reasons, but still fights for the human race.

Sorrosin Deraldo - He is a former COG\Stranded Leader. He has a scar under his left eye that supposedly came from a Supreme he fought at the New Hope Research Facility. He is war hardened and wishes not to fight as much but he will and despite that he is no force to be reckoned with a stolen torque bow and a custom built lancer with shrapnel explosive bullets and of course his trusty sword, "Ripper" as he calls it he is probably one of the most badassest people in project 'SILENT' besides Kade Barker, Ozz and Roxia. He has yet to be seen because he is currently undercover in the COG spying on Chairman Prescott to see what he is plotting next...

Staff Sergeant Grant Lee Jenkings - A two time Embry Star winner, and was a personal bodyguard of Colonel Hoffman, untill he died. He was violently kidnapped-but by who?

Sgt. John Ling: A fair childhood until the age of 12 when his brother and father went to join in the Pendulum Wars. at the age of 16 he dropped out and became a gear. When he was 17, E-day came. He had been a gear in Easy company but was sent to Foxtrot 3 years later after training to be a sniper.

Short Bio:
Killian fought along side of his 2 best friends Dom and Marcus in the Pendulum Wars. Killian a spiritual man decided after the Pendulum Wars ended to leave the Military but unknown to him just a day before E-day he was to return home to the peaceful Irish villiage he grew up in to reunite with his family only to find it was sunk by the Locust. With a pained filled heart, tears in his eye and raged in his mind Killian immediately went back to re-enlist in COG to justify all the innocent lives taken from his destoryed village.
To show his honor his Killian began to dye his hair and goatee green along with getting a tattoo of a 3 leaf clover and skull in the center on his left arm to show the love of his beloved Irish homeland and to get justice for all his people.
Killian is looking to join Dom and Marcus again on the battle field to take down the Locust once and for all.

Gerbur Kepler A.K.A. Gerbur 622: Gerbur is a member of the C.O.G. army, a kind soldier born from a family of Spiritual warriors who live by the quote "Only the strong survives".
He is currently working with his squad on the tracking of the Locust Queen.
Gerbur was born ten years before E-Day. During his childhood, he spent most of his time with his father on Jacinto, as his dad was affiliated with the C.O.G.
Ten years after E-Day, when Gerbur was 20 years old, he completed basic training and enlisted to fight against the Locust Horde.
His first mission was to retrieve a resonator from an old C.O.G. outpost on Ephyra, the mission failed as there was a Locust ambush on the wait. Only Gerbur made it back to Jacinto. Five years later, during the assault on Landown, he was assigned to be the leader of Beta Squad, which was one of the first squads to get to the Hollow.
Gerbur's squad was lucky as they landed on top of a Locust outpost. They managed to eliminate the entire Locust guards and drones.
After the first assault to the Hollow, Gerbur and his squad returned valuable information about the Locust monks (Kantus) and how they are able to revive downed Locusts drone from afar.
Before the sinking of Jacinto, Gerbur and his squad were sent to a C.O.G. outpost to help on the current search for the Locust Queen, which was seen fleeing Nexus on a Reaver onto the horizon.
