Hi folks,

Each day there are more and more custom maps released and except if you download and test all (what is the best manner of it form his own opinion), it's hard to know which one is fun to play (I mean by "fun" a map with a solid UT's layout, a good and fast flow, a good action and incidentally a descent visual).

So that's why I share my own but subjective list for those who looking for a DM-map which brings, IMHO, the original unreal's gameplay.

Great, since we don't like the same type of maps, we will end up with all different lists content (except few repetitive maps of course)

Yes Steve, maybe you give me the idea

with this list I try to focus on what I call a "real DM map", according to my own criterias, wich are only: solid and smart Layout, a fluid flow and a fun gameplay.

But it's shure it will have some same maps in others list, like in yours

A sister thread to my "Let's talk about DM game play" thread. Most of these maps I have in my "Traditional" map list in Map Mixer.

If anyone has a link for Under2, I would appreciate getting that as the File Front link has expired.

That being said, I have some suggestions to add to your list. If you need them, I may also have links to their threads as I have kept a list of all the maps I have downloaded and have many links to their Epic thread.

I beleive Solar and Thor are converted CTF maps, but they work well for the most part as a DM map.

Yes of course.
My first intention was to put my list on your thread as you have suggered, and I have though I can be interesting for player like us to have a listing easily reachable (on a first post instead of lost in many repply...).
So that's why this thread exist

Negative Ghost Rider. That's the problem with the current trend in map releases. They post it on Filefront, which is nice, but after a time of inactivity, you can't get it anymore.

That same thing happened with Under2, until recently when he uploaded it. There are a handful of nice files sites that will keep the map available, but people never use them anymore.

I can send you the file, if you want to check it out, but it's not in it's original folder (.zip or .rar).

Here is a link from my site. It's not in original form (hence the name of the .zip file), but it does include the basics (including a readme).

Hi everyone, first all, thank you for use DM-likeRakin on server.
I come to say than DM-likeRankin is now 1.1, I did a lot of changes a fixed some bugs. Now using low quality run mutch more fast than before.
In .RAR file have full changelog.
