RAAM vs Skorge.

Who do you think is better. and why.

People are voting but no one is saying why so i guess i will.
I did vote for RAAM simply because he is bigger, badder, and just appeared to me to be a better leader and the locust listened to him.
Don't get me wrong Skorge is prob a great leader he just dosent have the "look".
He looks physicaly weak. And a chainsaw staff.....comon. good idea but comon.
How can Skorge win any chainsaw duels with arms that thin. He looks like a starving child from a 3rd world country. but thats my opinion.

In Gears one they made it appear like he was IN CHARGE of armies of locusts during the cut scenes and he is much more physically imposing and scary.

Skore just looks like some weak teenage punk with dreadlocks. A chainsaw staff? Kinda a dumb weapon that would serve no purpose in real life and pretty useless against bullets. All in all... a pretty crappy boss with a crappy fight.

RAAM definitely has the intimidation factor. He's very beefed up, and he's coming at you with a Troika with no effort. For me, he was a tougher fight. I felt like I had actually achieved something when I beat RAAM on Insane.

He's also got other 'bonus factors' in my book. My very first time playing the original Gears of War was at a friend's house, and we jumped in right at Act 5. We made it through alright while I was still picking up the basics, and there he was; the wall. We had no clue what to do. I'm still figuring out the cover system and he's coming at us with a freaking Troika!

His other 'bonus factor' is that you sit and watch him shank Kim, and execute a redshirt later in the game.

Skorge really didn't seem like much of an opponent. He has never even killed me, whereas I could go fight RAAM on Insane and he'd probably take me out at least a few times. His whole double-chainsaw weapon...I don't know, I think this game's getting a bit too extreme on chainsaws. And while he takes out a tank, possibly mutilates Tai, and possibly kills Dizzy, you really don't see it happening, so killing him doesn't really feel like you're avenging anyone like when you take out RAAM.

RAAM for the obvious reason. He was the Locust General in Gears 1. If Skorge was better he would have been the leader before RAAM was killed. Oh snap!

There has been another thread like this but ill guess ill answer again - RAAM was so much harder to kill whereas skorge's battle was more like dodge across and kill him on the reaver, nothin much.

raam is better but he has a massive advantage, with no kryll the battle would be even and if he did have kryll skorge could just summon the rift worm and make it eat him

RAAM no questions asked, He commands the Horde, He was a better opposing villain than Skorge, I like Skorge, but his dead did not go as I expected, in other word he did not put a real fight as RAAM.
