New update----??

When I logged into gears this morning there was an update screen that popped up!! I have been looking all around the net this morning and haven't read a thing about it. What is the new update for?

2nd - good connection, 3 people on the other team quit
3rd - No one quit - I was the host

I had the same but i thought it was an Xbox360 Dashboard update so i looked and it wasnt so i thought oh what the hell never mind, then a friend in the game GT ''Cs Luxuria'' Told me that it was an GoW2 Update so i looked all over the net searching what the update does but i still didnt find it so i joined http://gearsofwar.com/ and found this POST, Why dont Epic Creators tell us something about it. Or they should give Xbox360 an update that tells us what does the Update.

I have found every game I have searched for within 30 secs or so. Perhaps that was the update? Then again, it IS early in the day, and I usually have no problems finding late morning/early afternoon games.

i got the update 2.really want 2 know if they fixed any weapon problems.the lag was 1 concern but the other is weapons.

in the last 5 or 6 games that i have played, I noticed that i could find the games alot quicker, they were not at all laggy, and my shotgun seemed more accurate when firing from the hip. The shotgun accuracy could also be from the host, so i cant really say if this was fixed.

Don't know what is the update for, but i've played 3 games and 3 started fast (but this does not mean nothing). Anyway, the game is still laggy as before or even more, the shotgun still shoots in the GROUND (why!!!!) and i cannot use sniper on the 80% of the games.

I think people complain about chainsaw... but... isn't that actually the normal thing to do? when i play a laggy game i can only kill with one thing, the chainsaw, because my bullets seems to be bubblegum.

Why this "random host" thing? i miss the opportunity to select to what host i want to play (not a laggy one). I've been put in games that when i shot the shotgun it takes 9 SECONDS to see the impact on the ground!

It's ok with the random... but only when i'm with good servers, not a pure random "play in Australia" thing that i think the game actually does.
