Yeah my Golden Hammerburst doesn't stay unless I play a different game and then put in Gears of War 2 afterwards.

Wrong section but yeah that happens to everyone you have to toggle it everytime you go on gears.

nah, i think the reason people want them to stay as their default weapon is because they dont have 5 secodns to change it back to golden every time they come off

To everybody saying that it is "No big deal" I play primarily with my Golden Hammerburst. When the game is starting I usually do not pay attention to the weapon selection and when I forget to reset the weapon as default after turning on my xbox, I get stuck with the lancer. My gameplay and strategies rely on the Hammerburst. Sure, the lancer works but I play very poorly with the lancer as literally no experience with it compared to the hammerburst.

Gold weapons are actually very important two reasons, if you die people actually take the time to pick it up leaving them vulnerable. Also if your opponent has a gold weapon you can just pick up ammo rather than having to pick up a whole new weapon.
