Gold guns won't stay as MP defaults

How can I fix this? Every time I load up the game my default MP weapon is a regular Lancer. WTF.

The defaults for multiplayer characters and guns can be set in the options menu.

i just press RB and problem solved. Doesn't bother me in the slightest. (Most of the time it stays default)

If it came up with an error, go into your "accounts" section, go to previous downloads, and d/l it again. It should work then.

why do u all act like it's no big deal? Defaulting is a feature that all should be able to use especially people with the golden guns. What if i'm doing something else when gun selection comes up... Default would be gay and make me use the lancer. Also, what if I join a buddys game that is already in progress oh ya... I'm gonna be forced to use the lancer. All im saying is, it's a bug and should be fixed. Thanks.

yea having the lancer or hammerburst in a match is actually a big deal and can make a huge difference in a match

I too hate the glitch where it goes back to default lancer when you turn the game off and back on perhaps the next day or later on in the day.

Yes, it is annoying. But I got used to making it the default everytime I start the game. But I didn't know about the private match glitch. I guess you could make the regular gun your default and you will have the right gun in the private match. Just a pain that you have to remember to do that.

u had to be at the midnight release to get the gold hammerburst and the lancer. i think cuz iwas there and got both and a shirt and a key chain and a sticker.

When I disconnect from live I can't use my gold lancer to play local MP.
And the DLC maps only work when I'm connected to live as well, GHEY.

i made a thread on the Gears 2 link about how to keep them.

you have to load the game before you sign in XBL in order to keep them as default.
if you go to the dashboard while still signed in it wont save them.

when you power on your system set it so it loads the disc right away, have your auto sign in off. this way when the game loads you sign in and you have the guns.

actually you only get the hammerburst you had to get the limited edition for the lancer

does the same with me.. not really a big deal but i wish it worked so i when i joined private matches. it isn't regular lancer. i love the golden lancer. Now if only they made a rainbow lancer. THAT BE AWESOME!

Same here doesn't work. I like my golden guns. Switching to it is not a big deal. I'm sure it's a quick fix for Epic.

did the TU3 work for anyone fopr keeping the GG's as default? cus i signed in on the dashboard then loaded the game and my GHB(golden hammerburst, not the drug) was defaultdefault.
