    I've done that as well, and it hadn't done anything. I'll try again for kicks, but I was under the impression that redeemers weren't counted for powerup acquisition.

    Edit: I just did a round in Morbias Station and got the redeemer and it still counts the map as incomplete. That can't have been what gave you credit, since it's a weapon and not a powerup. I was able to complete Ocean Relic without getting the redeemer.

    Is it an old bug that you sometimes cannot see your own orb on the map?
    It was very annoying!
    Does it probably have something to do with joining as spectator and then becoming active?
    But it was on 2 maps:
    The first map was Avalanche when I joined as spectator.
    The second map was OnyxCoast and I still could not see the orb.
    Then, on the third map which was Serenity, I finally could see the orb on the map

    Morbias isn't bugged, apparently :P

    I had been going into the map with no other players or bots since I was just powerup hunting, I played a regular match on it just now and then found this in my Launch.log after exiting UT3:

    ScriptLog: No pickups for map Morbias - Marking it completed for Like the Back of my Hand Achievement
    Looks like in order to get it to count you need to finish a match on the map. Just entering it and quitting back to the menu won't count.

    omg... dude nightmare you should have been the game play tester at epic... makes me wonder about the lousy testers they have...

    i have another bug... skin colors are not correct... i was on blue team and i had red skin... this is in war

    on confrontation... i could hear enemy bots... i was on blue team and i could hear a red team bot say... blue levi in our base...

    I have to contradict Goteki here. There is an error with the Like the Back of my Hand Achievement. I could complete this achievement for every map but DM-Morbias.

    Now that is a bug, since I've been able to get achievement progress on that map finally. And I have been posting in that other thread, actually :P

    Make a copy of that log file just in case, and I'll post suggestions/etc. in the other thread so this one doesn't get bloated.

    I have to apologize folks. I did have some custom content (some models) activated so I couldn't get the achievement.
    I have it now, thanks anyway.
    Btw, why do I have to disable all custom content to get achievements Isn't that weird

    The no-friendly-orb-on-the-minimap bug needs to go, it's definately new since 2.0, and it really messes with the game.

    Because it was a part of this thread:
    As of now, the map glitches thread does not exist anymore.
    (There were some internal discussions and that's the final conclusion).
    And if any of you read my posts which were adressed to Bersy:
    There was a very bad misunderstanding since I actually confused him with another user.

    Many new (ok, some of them are old but new in the list) bugs have been included.

    Yes, you are completely right.
    Since the 1 Avril hit kills are fixed, the 0 damage Avril hits are more noticeable.
    I think I will add it in my next version.
    The Scavenger could theoretically survive any Avril shots if you hit its legs.
    However, I know there are many other issues (on Manta, Vipers or also other Scavenger hit zones) where the damage does not count because of this bug.

    Happens to me many many times. Its not a bug. Its the net.

    Btw i dont know why, but after every patch my ping , lag , pl gets worse. Strange cause if its my net = my provider waits the new patch to fail me.Dunno.

    Maybe these 0 damage Avril hits are like any other 0 damage hits?
    I often get Rockets directly in my face without losing 1 hp.
    (Of course sometimes I hit enemies as well who did not lose any hp).
    Seems this happens to many other weapons as well and the Avril is one of them.

    Yeah, should be a net problem.

    That Rocket bug seems to happen only when you are moving and when you're shooting your gun back at the enemy player(s). It almost is like the Rocket explodes in front of you, giving no damage, when your weapon projectile shoots out at it or near it at a similar time.

    Editor performance bug:

    Performing operations on multiple AmbientSoundSample actors while the generic browser tab is open seems to be an O(n^2) operation. Performing the same operation with the Actor Classes tab open is an O(1) operation. This may be true of other actor types as well but I've tested with ambient sound actors.

    Some minutes ago, I had the Fury on OnyxCoast and I got at least three 0 damage Avrils.
    Yes, I was moving as much as I could but they hit me.

    yeah drunken true ! Yesterday the ping was fluctuating between 90 (whats quit normal for me) and 150 (whats definitively not normal for me!).
    It was Epic Warfare #1 Titanfree server iirc... Many people left the server because of lags and the game seems to be pretty unplayable (for me too)...
    maybe Epic was (just?) working on the server?

    I think I've prolly had a very unique bug no1 other prolly have managed to do.

    How about getting hit by a deemer in the head while destroying enemy orb at same time and survive?

    It was on floodgate where orb carrier was hoverboarding from the floodgate node to deemer tower and was gonna jump over to center node building and I hit him with shock primary just as he was gonna jump and he falls down while orb is left on the very edge of the platform. Then when I get over to the orb I hear the sound of deemer coming towards me and I quickly press 'E' to destroy orb while I see the deemer rocket flying at my face. Somehow I get thrown (like by a Darkwalker 2ndary attack) from the deemer platform over to the center node building and with 10 HP left down from 100! xD The most WTF moment for me in UT3, not everyday u survive a deemer + orb destroy.

    Today, I survived a Redeemer explosion too.
    Very strange.
    It seems it just pushed me some metres.
    (I'm not sure if I even lost some HP.)
    It was on WAR-Confrontation.
    I had the orb to link the node when the Redeemer came.
    Let's see if it will happen more often^^

    I don't know if it's been said in this thread yet, but I get all types of problems with the translocator in 2.0 that didn't happen in 1.3. I posted a message about this a few days ago to no avail. Basically if you dodge forward or are falling downward and shoot the trans, it can end up behind you (this is in low-grav). but sometimes, even though it *looks* like it's behind you, it's really in the place in front of you that you expected it to go. I can reproduce this in CTF with LG/IG/SpeedFreak turned on all the time. It's very broken!

    That means I cannot say anything to it right now.

    Do you mean the player can be faster than the translocator-"bullet"?
    Is it possible for you to make a screenshot?
    This happens on pure (no mutators) servers as well?

    There are 2 work-arounds available.
    They are still not perfect, but they are much better than nothing!

    Additionally, with the Translocator, why is it that when you throw the disc up against a wall, and translocate, you cannot dodge off that wall immediatly after translocating? Perhaps this feature has been disabled as of 2k4, but since you are supposed to be able to Hoverboard-jump then wall-dodge, shouldn't you be able to do the same with the Translocator?

    Another problem that I consistantly have with the AVRiL is this: If I shoot out the missle, and keep holding the AVRiL, it immediatley starts reloading another one, which takes about 3 seconds. However, if I shoot out the missle, and immediatly switch to another weapon, and then switch back to the AVRiL, it doesn't reload automatically. This is often a pain when you're about to be squished by an incoming Manta, and your AVRiL has to reload again when you switch back to it. You have to click for it to reload, so if you're uncertain, you don't want to waste the AVRiL. This is a picky complaint, but there has never been a "manual" weapon reload in UT3, so I figure it may be a bug of some sort...

    I tried it with many weapons and it works.
    At least all weapons which are accessible with the 1 - 9 keys should work!
    Other special things like Redeemer do not work now, but there could be a trick as well.
    The biggest problem is the scroll wheel.
    No idea if there is any solution.

    network glitch, perhaps.. avrils do damage normally.

    yes it is definitively a network glitch, but the double damage was a network glitch, too. So I hope they can fix 0 damage also. Its very annoying...

    I can't say if the player is moving faster or not, it's just like the trans disc doesn't go anywhere, but stays behind. Then meanwhile you've been moving forward and you trans and you go back to where you started.

    I'm not 100% positive if this happens without muts. I'll have to take a look and post back. It certainly happens enough to make me swear a lot :-) A screenshot wouldn't do it justice. Maybe I could fraps it or something if I get a chance this weekend.

    I only used CTF to replicate it as I'm working on another gametype right now and wanted to make sure it wasn't me :-)

    Hmm. I am pretty sure that works for me. What irks me is that the trans doesn't bounce any more. I've been trying to track it down with a custom translocator I made, and haven't quite gotten to the bottom of it.

    Speaking of which, I ended up making a 2k4 style trans with a camera that works exactly like 2k4 (press q to show cam instead of firing again like BattleTrans), complete with 2k4 cam graphics.
