Im so jealous lol.... What are your new PC specs? I know they have 8 cores but what speed? how much RAM? what GPU? Cant wait to see what you guys do with em

CPU: Dual Intel® Core™ 2 Extreme QX9775, quad 3.2GHz cores, 1600MHz FSB, 12MB L2 Cache
Memory: 4GB DDR2 667MHz ECC FB-DIMM (2 x 2GB)
PCX Video: ATI 4870x2

Unfortunately the Editor consistently crashes roughly five minutes into using it on this PC, so until some kind of fix presents itself the only thing I'll be using mine for is lots of gaming.

Yes unfortunately it chugs in the editor unless you toggle game actors off (yes, it's ironic)... but Epic have said they will work with ATI to get a fix.

haha this is what I was thinking Cory, haha.. still I "sigh" that you beat me haha still not bad for my first effort

Edit: actually I lie, Its not my very first effort, My first effort was back in 2000 when I started making a map for Ut1, I never finished but heres a pic of an elevator I made.. even back then I was adding as much detail as I could. If anyone reading wants this. PM me, ill hand it over (the net) for someone who may want to finish it.

Yeah, we just made a ton of wire transfers. If you sent us your completed Phase 2 paperwork before March 30, check your accounts!

If we just received it this week, you should get your payment mid next week.

I got the money just fine, but I'm not sure if a computer was part of my prize.

Sounds great but i highly doubt im going to have anything worthy in for P3 thanks to college bogging me down. Doubt i can learn time travel so ill miss out again

Unless i can map like hell on a very early wip map. Like started yesterday early :/

Very nice indeed, even if the RAM is only average. Guess RAM's the cheapest upgarde anyhow

Seems a shame not to have a bit more in such a kickazz rig.

While at GDC '09 (*last year* not this year) I grabbed a couple (two) extra DVDs made for Phase 2. If you are a winner in Phase 2 and would like one, PM me. I don't really need three copies.

I only have two extra so first come, first serve.

Thats really cool of you to offer. Looking for a phase 1 & phase 3 (if it exists) myself though. Thx anyway.
