Alright, am I correct in understanding that the Union Square, San Francisco pickup has been tried multiple times now but due to the marathon no one has actually retrieved it? Or is its status unknown because of said marathon, and it may have been picked up?

I may go check it out on Saturday.

IF you look at the other thread, I went there today. They built a wall around the statue, it is impossible to go to the location shown in Six's picture where I know the cog would be if it has not been picked up.

Exo, who found the one at AT&T park went back at night when they were building it and did not see the cog, but did not look for very long.

Bushmaster went up there and asked a construction worker to look in the lights for him to see if it was there, worker came back with nothing.

I still hold that maybe they were all just looking in the wrong light.

However, due to the Nike+ Marathon, there is nothing you can do. They built a wall around the statue that is not openable. They built a scaffolding then covered that, so it's there until the marathon is over.

I'm guessing these tags are like the other Tags in Hungary, part of the Last Day Campaign but not completely tied in with the major part on the site.

Why not post the details on here and help EVERYONE out? Keeping them to yourself until someone emails you isn't the best way to approach this

Kyle emailed me and said he had some coords from a vid on the lastday website and the location was in SF . he didn't give me the coords though :lol:

Probably just means the coords that aren't even anything confirmed.

I thought he said he FOUND a cog tag at those coords and couldn't claim them.

well fair enough. on one of the videos...i think its the gas pumps....the satalite aligns with some co ordinates. which are 37 46' N, 122 26' W

if you check google earth it actually shows you a place in san francisco!

according to this its on the junction of henry st and noe st. by 2 resturaunts....

Well, that has been known for a while, no one has gone to check it out because it has been unconfirmed by anyone, really. It's just a location in a video, doesn't fit the format of the rest of the coordinates, so it could really just be a part of the video.

I'm in central North Carolina; less than fifteens minute from the capital, Raleigh, and less than an hour to a medley of other areas. If any appear around there, make sure to tell me.

Since N.C. is still thought of as relatively rural (Even though it's growing quite fast, and I believe it was voted "One of the three places in the U.S. not going into recession" or something like that), I'm unsure of whether one would be found here. It could be they would plant one here just because not a lot of people here know about GoW(A lot of my friends don't know what GoW is, and those who do know nothing about Last Day), though they seem to be more interested in planting them in large cities or public areas.

They've hit San Fran, L.A., and Boston, correct? Well, they are three of the most well-known cities in the U.S., with N.Y. obviously a prime one, which means if Tags are being put out, N.Y. should be a sure spot for at least one.

As for finding Co-ordinates, I've never been good at doing co-ordinates in anything, but I'll say if I find it.

I must admit, finding one of these tags would be immensely pleasing, as even though I've known of GoW for only a week or so, it's quickly become one of my favorite games, and I've learned a ton of stuff, thanks to Gearspedia and here. They also look way better than the packaged ones, and I would love to unlock more stuff on the Last Day site; the information and movies are very interesting.

Severely doubting it, but maybe.

For some reason it seems that the only cities in Louisiana that have anything going on, ever, are New Orleans or Baton Rouge.
