My question is this. How many COG Tags do you guys think are hidden? No doubt we need to work together in this, because i'd like to see them all found more so than being selfish and finding one SOLELY for myself. How exactly are they spread out? Budapest is seemingly random, but it must have some relevance to the Gears noir...Then we have London. I'm just curious as to the selection of locales...

Of course you can do that but unsure how helpful it will be. i've seen previous games where objects are hidden in the real world. Most of the the location are spread out so lots of people have an opportunity to find the item. There already lots of people posting where they are want the next items to be.

Also unless they change how they are giving us the clues we simply have to wait for the GPS before we know roughly where the cog will be.

I did like the idea of people teaming up as likely going to be more fun that way. Hope people do this as long as they no arguments who gets to keep the cog

WaldoRtk7 is pretty good at updating this when the ones that find them post that they found one, along with the proof. Pics taken with it and the code of it, the code for the LA one wont be of use for us anymore since the satelite has been unlocked already. (Anyways If you find it, usually more pics you have help, as you will be asked by us where you found it to get more ideas how they'd have the others hid). As far as the other thread goes there have been close to 3 people who have already went looking for it without luck. As of right now though no one has claimed to have found it but that's not saying it hasn't been found yet, If someone has already they hadn't spoken up on the site. I'd go but I'm directionally challenged and no one i know here is as big of a gears fan as me to direct me or let me navigate. If they get one closer to SB (my location) I'll definately be in though! haha. Best of luck to you!

Thanks for the encouragement. It will cost a little bit in gas, but I have a on foot GPS locator and some time to burn this week.

More questions:
How long ago were the clues posted?
How fast has it taken the other couple to be found in the wild?

By clues I'm assumming you mean the gps lat and long right?? Thoes were posted 10/10 maybe 10/09 but took a while to figure out what they meant haha.Around the 9th and 10th they posted the 1st batch of the locations and some went to look but didnt know exactly what to look for. Then on the 12th "xl Ragnar lx" & "Guy The Ace" found and entered the code from the cog they found in Budapest, Hungary which unlocked the satelite. Considering some already went to the location and hearing about some look in others locations saying that they searched for "hours"... I assume they could take a while since the gps location isn't exact on spot. You might have to go hunting around in that area for a while. "xl Ragnar lx" said they found theirs buried under rocks so it might and might not be as visible.

I wonder what my chances are in finding it. I'll leave after rush hour and dig around for a few hours before rush hour starts yet again.

I saw in that London thread, epic put up some picture hints. Does this mean the cog's are put there at a designated time by epic? Or are the cog's already there, waiting for plundering?
