    Default Re-learning Campaign play

I don't know about all you guys/gals but I always play the campaign of any game through first then hit the multiplayer.

Playing gears multiplayer for the first time after the campaign was very very different i.e. getting used to no left trigger aiming with the shotgun and blind firing instead.

I wonder how this will effect us all when we first play campaign again? Its definately going to be hard to re-adjust.

I played the campaign on gears 1 on insane the other day and I couldn't help but keep running in like multilayer and getting blown in half ever 2 seconds.

    Any views people?

I play Campaign and MP the same, save for a slight tactics change against shotty rushers,
but since there aren't many Locust doing that in SP, I think I'm good.

Cover is key in campaign. So is blindfiring behind cover, specially on insane where locust take over a full clip of lancer. Feel free to retreat to heal, as the locust dont regenerate health in the campaign.

Ooo and aim for legs. Specially on insane. Dropping em is key, and then you just target their stationary head (mind you it still takes another 10 lancer shots to the head after).

As for gears 2, the system is different so I can't give advice till I tried it.
For gears 1,2, and 3, I have one thing to say:
    Lancer Forever!

I LOVE DBS USERS!!! They always remain a source of easy kills for me.

In gears 2, isnt the AI intelligence so much greater than gears 1?

    artificial intelligence intelligence?

    awfully redundant, haha

but yes, the AI is supposed to be better, hopefully it'll actually be challenging on Insane

i do the same thing, run and gun and most of the time get blown to BITS.
but gears of war 2's campaign should run like MP i mean it'll be much smarter AI around this time,
and the enemys will be much smarter..
    and in bigger numbers..
    should be fun!

I play SP and MP pretty much the same, lancer at a distance, shotty up close or my favorite chainsaw. Locust don't or and least didn't chain you or shotty you right after you chainsaw someone so it was all good. Grenade tagging is a lot simpler in SP. The AI was a bit slow on the draw, and got predictable after a while. Sitting over a hole shooting fish in a barrel got boing after a while. Until i figured out a nice grenade would close the hole. I can't wait for the new AI. This will be fun.
Q: How will the new Carmine die this time?
A: Chainsaw, it's gotta happen sooner or later.
