Are the trailers connected

Im pretty sure most of you guys know this already but if you lesson to the Duel trailer from 0:20 to 0:25 you can here dom say to Marcus "if something happens to me promise me you'll look for Maria." And when you wacth the Redeavous trailer you see Dom on the floor very weak and Marcus runs off to help fight the Locust. I kinda think theres a connection there with the trailers what do you guys think

probably connected with each other but personally i hate trailers they never seem to be to much about the game, GoW1 trailer had a burmak GoW game noo brumak, Halo 3 trailer big monument about MC and MC with plamsa about being killed by brute i didn't see any of that in halo 3.

i wouldn't worry to much about Dom, im sure his wife is in it, but i don't think GoW2 will be anything about the trailers

Of course the trailers are connected. But it's not like any of that's really going to happen. Gears 1's Mad World trailer showed Marcus dying alone in front of a bunch of Locust and a Corpser. Did that happen? No.

The trailer from Gears 1 had nothing to do with the storyline of the game. I think this is the same for Gears 2.
