This is an interesting question! Why DIDN'T the Reaver chase them down at the end? o_O

Think about this question story-wise. No dumb 'because then we wouldn't have a sequel' answers.

because, he could have killed them, but now, instead of haveing to fight and fight the humans, now the humans are relaxed again, giveing the locust another chance with a suprise attack (another emergance day, if you will)

Think about it. A "Rhino Reaver" is huge it could have easily taken down a Raven.
It also has two chain guns on it making it pretty deadly.

He wasn't a general IIRC, just a helmetless theron.

And Two chainguns > One reaver.

And it needs to help out with the disaster area below it.

Because their whole base just got blown up, and in doing this they think the Locust are destroyed, the Locust know this and take advantage, they regain forces, arm up, and get ready for another, bigger war. The COG think they have won, and if they attacked the chopper they would do a follow up attack going into the mines and destroy the remaining.

So they just regain forces, then attack.

When Epic first shipped the game they weren't really planning on doing a sequel because they didn't know how good the game will be.

Because as said before, a Raven is faster, has greater firepower, is better armored, and if they try to **** with a pumped up cole, he'll just jump on the rhino reaver and crush it to death.

gow is indexed but not illegal in germany. so i have imported it from austria like hundreds of other german players (also some german shops sell it, its legal) and i will do the same when gow2 comes out...

I think it is because the "General" may have been very important and he couldn't risk his life because he is very important to the locust.

whats the kids age have to do with the game? come on you can turn the news on and see stuff that is real life and extremely screwed up. the game has always had a movie feel to me......on a side note leave it to a child to point out the obvious for us. i never even thought to think bout it. i was always like "ok cool here comes a part two"
