    Default Single Player Modding--- Dom is useless

    So I'm almost done with scripting my SP map for a beta test next week sometime... however one problem I keep running into and not sure how to fix is Dom... he is totally useless...

    He rarely fights, and more often not does not follow me into the other parts of the level, thus resulting in him getting stuck behind doors that close if he does not keep up. Or another thing he does is follow me sometimes, sees locust spawn, chickens out and runs all the way back to the spawn point!

    Other times Dom picks a cover node and will not leave it for anything even there are no AI!

    So not sure how to fix this, any ideas or is this a known issue when making custom SP maps?

    lots and lots of AI go here triggers, as well as redundancy for doors such as, if dom doesn't follow through a door, teleport him inside.

    I know the AI Factory and Actor Factory contains 2 different behavior within. The AI Factory itself can spawn a Friendly AI that will follow like in the campaign, while the Actor Factory one will move in a complete disorder. I use them for Endurance, a linear level should make the usage of the AI Factory.

    Teleporting... have not thought of that... thanks...

    I'll try few things see what happens...

    EDIT: So I set up a remote event to fire a sequence of AI Go here for Dom... he seems to behave a little better than before so progress made! He followed me all the way up to my boomer encounter, never got that far before so I finally saw my cool kismet pyro technics go off!

    So figured out why Dom was not helping in my SP map...

    pathnodes.... go figure...

    been changing my AI spawners to appear from cover nodes now but the path nodes I used before I guess in code some where have a higher priority on pathing than cover nodes...

    So basically Dom was always trying to go to the nearest path node even if it meant standing in front of a locked door all day...
