Lost Game Saves ! [Gears of War Xbox 360]

I put my Gears of War disc into xbox360 drive and it asked me to download some kind of update, I downloaded it and after the game restarted, all my game saves were gone, I couldnt even start the game on Insane... that difficulty was locked...

What should I do ?

The same thing must have happened to me, but I never realized it until last week when I fired up SP for the first time in a long while.

I guess you just have to play through again to unlock Insane.

Your chapter unlock information is stored in your gamer profile, so if you create a new one, then they'll be gone.

I didnt create a new gamer profile.

after an update yesterday, i lost all the cog tags i had found, and all the acts were still unlocked except for act 2 i found that strange

just give's us all a chance to go through campaign again and refresh everyone of what happens in the first campaign

I wouldnt care if they deleted my saves or anything, but I cant play the game on Insane...
