    so it is portable...but can you set it up and see a trajectory similar to that of a grenade or torque bow?

    Yes, it's portable, but like the mini-gun it makes you hella slow.

    You can mount it on cover, the ground, or just hold it.

    Mortar shoots explosives that can fly across the map.

    Atleast that's the info that was given to me in some interviews/gameplay videos posted here.

    I saw a pic where it had a cog holding the mortar on the ground and crouching near it. It was on river I think. If I can find the link ill post it,

    There isn't a targeting reticule. The weapon doesn't have any reticule at all. So it takes more skill to use. You basically just have to use it until you get used to using it. They did it on purpose so people just don't try and use it and have no skill with it.

    Hell yeah no aiming sight is a great idea, 1 man mortaring would take an age to set up properly, so just plonking it down and using your instincs would make more senese and take more skill and practice.
