4 player co-op!?

Cliffy said there isn't going to be 4 player co op and instead theres ''Horde'', do you think this is better or just a mistake? My brother is very mad about this and i think that the game will still kick a$$

Horde sounds cool and should be fun. I agree with Cliffy in that this is about Marcus and Dom and I for one would like to keep it that way.

you +3 people fight continues hordes of locust which get gradually harder. thats really all we know but i guess its either they get smarter ( like snipe and boomer) or it starts drone>theron> beserker etc...

you+3 more people= 4 people.

horde is a 5 player mode.

like Rod said, haveing to many people on co-op will make the story proggres to fast, here is an example Rod said "if your character runs out of ammo, then you go to get some ammo, your other allies will have allready completed the level or there is a cutscene and you dont even know whats happening"

well before i got pissed off about Cliff not wanting to do 4 player co op but then i realized that really wouldnt work.
and that he gave us Horde-Mode.
which is a nice replacement.
for the Co Op Situation.

but it will flesh out more of the story with two people.
rather then skipping videos and jumping ahead.and 4 people screaming in your ear.

I totally agree with EPIC to have the Co-Op stay 2 player related. Can't wait to play Horde Mode, looks awesome.

judging by how the demo we saw at E3 had two players in, it seems that making a 4 player co-op would destroy the balance of the game.

Yeah, it would. Just like Zachary said, you won't be able to experience the full Campaign.

is it over online that you have 4 player or can it be over the same xbox so you can make witty comments at eachother when you get knocked down by locust or over one xbox will it just be 2 of you max?

If they made it 4 player, I would not want it online, because having your TV split into quarters never really puts me off the gameplay, nor hinges my view of the screen. *sarcastic* soz, I don't know why I said that.


But Horde sounds much more fun that 4 player campaign, 4 player was just an excuse for extra spawns in Halo 3 and the very concept will make me very (sad face)
