Seventh Multiplayer Game Mode?

So Cliffy says in this interview that Gears 2 will be shipped with at least seven game modes. If you don't believe me heres the interview. The second part of it is a response to the first part for those who aren't familiar to youtube:

I took the liberty of giving you the high def version Anyways, here are the game modes I'm pretty sure made the cut:

execution-everybody knows about this one
warzone-everybody also knows about this one
annex-and everbody knows about this one as well
wingman-five teams of two battle it out for a set number of kills
meatflag-one flag CTF, but with an AI as the flag
guardian-assassination, but you can respawn till your leader is killed

Does anyone have any clue what the seventh will be? I don't think theres any info on it out yet. Hmm.

Probably King of the Hill or some kind of Assault gametype.

I had heard from somewhere that Annex has been taken out, replaced with King of the Hill (though you can make it like Annex by changing it to warzone rules). And I have a hunch they did the same with warzone/execution. So that leaves 3 possible NEW gametypes.

yeah im guessing that its not an objective game because they've publicized the other objective games so much. And i bet there keeping warzone and execution and annex... just a feeling.

If you read the IGn write-up, he said that on E3 day, he will finish the write-up with another new mode that he played.

im voting for a survival mode with 100's of locust. Think RB6's terrorist hunt but bigger and better. That or like a team boss battle with burmaks and such

It's King of The Hill from the PC version. I read it somewhere don't remember where though.

It is going to be King of the Hill or Assult of some kind. But who really cares whatever it is this game is going to be ****ing sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!

King of the Hill was in the PC version of Gears 1, so I wouldn't doubt if it made the cut into Gears 2.

Correct me if I'm wrong.. but isn't King of the Hill just like Annex except that you don't have to wait to capture it and you don't have to stay in the circle?

Yea I doubt they'll have both Annex and King of the Hill.. supposedly Annex is back so I doubt there would be a King of the Hill.. Epic is probably making their own game.

Most likely plant the resonator for CoG and for Locust defend or destroy the resonator.

it's called Wingman

pretty sure that's as close to a free-for-all gametype as Gears is going to have

5 teams of 2 should be pretty crazy though

They can also let you talk to everyone even when it is FFA.

We already have FFA in gears of war 1, actually kinda... go play gears of war with friendly fire on with some kinds .

It's called 'WINGMAN', and before you start saying "but thats not free for all!1!!1", Epic has already stated that since Gears of War is all about tactical squad-based cover gameplay, free for all didn't fit it... so they came up with Wingman.

You can get up to 8 kills per round, dude. In Gears of War terms, that's like... 30 Halo kills.
