Can you tell us what Operating system you are using? (Windows XP? Windows Vista?).
    CPU brand and model?
Can you also tell us what display driver version you current have installed?
Also, did you applied the newest patch version 1.2 for UT3? (I remember reading that a lot of people seem to think it can auto update.)

Common control lag problems are due to pre-render FPS setting set too high, try setting that lower first.

    Hints:
    1) (As XenonG said) most "mouse-lag" problems come from a low frame rate. If your average fps are less than 40, maybe that's the problem.

    2) lower the sample-per-second of your mouse (if your driver can set it)

    3) SOME Razer mice must upgrade their FIRMWARE (not only the Driver)
I have a Copperhead and I had to do so for remove the mouselag.

Default It's likely your LCD is slow

It's likely your LCD is slow. All LCD have a lag due to the nature of the LCD. The amount of LAG depends on quality of the monitor. Looking at your video card, I am assuming your monitor is cheap and likely very slow and has lots of LAG..

What LCD monitor do you have?

Some really suck big time and are only good for office type work, not for FPS type games at all.

Look yup our monitor up here and see if it's slow compared to others.

Most monitor are slow, but it shows a ghosting effect instead of.... delayed frames? I have yet to see LCD monitors that has delayed frames output, would be nice if you can point me to a brand and model make that does this, most probably a slower converter chip.

Turn off V-Sync or set the prerender limit in your nvidia driver from 3 to 1 or 0 if possible.

I figure my Sony G520 CRT monitors will last at least 3-4 more years and hopefully by then really good non CRT panels will be available.

Right now, none of the larger ones look any good.

    The minimum system requirements are:

    WindowsXP/SP2 or Windows Vista
    2.0 Ghz Singel Core processer
    512 Mb RAM
Nvidia 6200+ or ATI Radeon 9600+ VideoCard
8GB of free hard drive space
    -----------------------------------------------------------
I've got an Nvidia 6600, people say my videoCard is to slow. I think it is not my video card. My drivers are up-to-date. Does anyone knows my problem? Its not only my mouse with an delay, it is also my keyboard.

Is there any command for my problem?

It's your whole system. Minimum requirements must play with minimum settings. Your system needs to run 1-1 quality with no higher that 800x600 screen res. Your just slightly above the minimum requirements with your socket 478 P4 and AGP GeF 6600 vid card. Your system must be like > 4 years old at least, you cannot expect it to play new high level games well. Do you know how old your LCD is?

Make sure you do not have anything running in the background, no anti virus, etc.

    Try the stuff Ultron posted in this thread;

You already know it can run using a 6600. However, Epic only says that UT3 will run on a 6200; they do not say it will run well. Similarly, you also already know that it will not run well with a 6600.

When considering any video games, you should look at the "Recommended System Requirments" and mentally translate this to mean "Minimum System Requirements." The reason they also publish what they call the minimum requirements is to take up space and thus force the printer to use a font size that is too small to read when you looking at the box in the store ... just in case using black ink on a black background isn't enough to dissuade you from trying to read it in the first place.

i had the same problem on my computer, i ended up finding that the nvidia software that controlled my video card was syncing the game outside of the game... i turned this off and it has worked great now... just look at the settings for nvidia and look for where it edits individual software, look for UT3.exe and go down to the bottom where it says sync, and turn it to false... hope that helps

dMz, the main problem can be minimum frame rate- your pc will almost feel like it is grinding to a halt and this will feel similar to mouse lag. Check the link out below for the 6600gt. note this is with a slightly faster 2.2ghz cpu, note how they say that the game is unplayable with the 6600gt due to the single figure framerates even at low res.

I NEVER recommend that someone play a game instead of one from the Unreal franchise. I do usually recommend that one should play the latest Unreal game in order to help keep Epic solvent, to avoid burn-out and boredom with an older game that one has been playing for years, and to receive maximum benefit from the latest innovations in the gaming experience. Further, since all new software has glitches, bugs, and quirks, figuring out how to get it to run, figuring out how to tweak and optimize it, and complaining in the forums about having to do these things, all add the excitement of the newest game.

Finally, spending money on a new PC so you can play the new game properly is more socially responsible than spending it on impulse purchases like food, rent, gas, insurance, or braces for the kids' teeth.
