PS3 users let me point you to this thread:

So come on folks ... now is your time to really help out ... make sure there are no major bugs that I might have missed. I am mostly just converting these and then playing a 20 minute match. I don't look for very specific bugs just to make sure there is nothing really obvious out of place and that everything looks and behaves as it should. So definitely the more assistance on the PS3 side the better. Definitely for net play as well since I don't play online on the PS3 at all.![]()
that's cool, go for it PS 3 users, your chance at a sneak peak!
The CBP 3 team will accept cash bribes....
Or accept anyone that can leap through a ring of fire!

I've never been one to leap through fire.
Still, i honestly cannot wait.

The maps look great. Hope when it's release to put them on the UGL ladders.
keep up the good work.![]()
What is really great for the PS3 users is that all of these levels will be installed via ONE USERDATA.JAM file. That is something I didn't even think was possible. I haven't installed the Epic BP so if its like that then "ahhhh".![]()
Took me a while to figure that one outIt would've sucked to have to download all the CBP3 maps individually and install them one at a time on PS3, urgh.
Basically I just cook the maps for PS3 individually with UTFrontEnd, then copy the .xxx files from each one into one big folder (called CBP3-Volume1), and have one combined PS3-UTGame.ini that has all the map infos in it. Then just use the "Package Mod" button in UTFrontEnd to create the USERDATA.JAM file
But I'll put that in a separate thread somewhere when I get the chance.
I've also written a batch script to make PS3 cooking a one-file-drag process (sorry, don't want to put you out of a job or anything but the whole process of doing this for everyone's maps really irritated me! Rest assured we will still be needing you for PS3 testing, Anuban)
Now I would *really* like to figure out a way to get custom level preview screenshots working on the PS3. Surely there must be a way!

Sounds cool ... And yes it would be nice to have the level preview screenshots. Not so much for me but for friends that come over and want to either watch me play or give the game a try themselves. I'm surprised no one at Epic has stepped in to give you guys a hand on this one tbh. CBPs are a pretty big deal Epic ... but its not too late.![]()
So have any PS3 users stepped up to the plate and started to test some of these levels? If you have both the PC and PS3 versions of UT3 please look to see if you notice any difference between the two as this is important and should be noted (if not corrected altogether where possible).
2 more days 2 more days 2 more days...

Really excited for this but make sure that everything is in order... we have had some let downs lately with some final releases (gametypes, maps, etc). I would rather wait and get a perfect (or as near perfect as possible) release than get a buggy one. This looks great Im looking forward to adding these maps.
no nothing is wrong. Just waiting to hear from Spoondog as he is taking care of the final build of CBP 3.
So keep the excitement and hype going, the maps will be available soon.

And believe me as a tester with limited time and one of the few testing on the PS3 I am doing my best to keep that reputation intact.
CBP 1 and 2 were for UT2K3/4, and were (at least in our LAN circle) the life's blood of the game. Especially Warbeast's and Angelmapper's stuff, they were unabashedly the most inspired and original maps we had ever put in the rotation.
I would like to say THANK YOU to the CBP team, this just put UT3 back on our server.
Protocol is our alt-fire function
For some odd reason, I haven't commented anywhere on this pack yet; unless that's what went down with the last crash of the BU forums.
CTF-CBP3-Touch (by Spoondog) > kinda dark and definitely need to study map to know where to go; glad I got my new rig for this one before I tried this one back in 2009; bots can't defend.
DM-CBP3-August (by Neoduck0 > great TDM map and not really too much like the other August maps and seems to be something a bit different.
DM-CBP3-Endura (by GreenLoves) > outside in forest with serious z-axis and definitely is interesting as TDM.
DM-CBP3-HongKong (by Tynan Sylvester) > somewhat small DM map with some z-axis opportunities, definitely watch your back but bots could be better.
DM-CBP3-IronMaiden2 (by MozI) > huge DM where hitscan can dominate, best played with TDM; I think I reviewed these maps in my "addicted to TDM" phase.
DM-CBP3-Salvation (by KaMi) > nice space-themed DM inside a ship or outpost, bots can be tough but not.
VCTF-CBP3-TheDig (by Plutonic) > decent VCTF, but not really my favorite gametype; could be a good map for you though.
WAR-CBP3-Airlock (by MozI) > crazy inside tight WAR and I'm still not sure about this gametype.
So it's not a detailed review of each map, but it's what I found written down somewhere and it is what it is.
