    Map - Deathmatch (PC/PS3) DM-AntiCamper & Camper [PC/PS3][Pics][D/L]

    Description: An inspired remake of a R6: Raven Shield map. There are 2 main fighting areas connected by a center room. Two platforms on either end allow for some sniping opportunities. One maps has inner walls that are visually solid (Camper), while the other has translucent (AntiCamper) walls.

    Comments: This is my first released map for the Unreal series. Instead of starting a map I wouldn't finish due to size and complexity, I am starting simple and am working my way up the ladder. The map is suited for players new to the game, those liking niche maps, or those who want a nice warm-up map.

    Credits: Epic for a great game and the assets used to build the map. Hourences for tutorials and readme layout. DGUnreal for tutorials. {BFG}Bl!tz~ for feedback.

    odedge, i just tested this out against some bots offline (PS3), Very fun maps.
    PCspeedX, instagib, Elimination (1 life) + Camper = hawt games.

    Thanks to all of you who downloaded and tried out the map. I appreciate you giving it a try and any feedback is useful.

    I am trying to remake some R6: RavenShield maps in the UT universe. When I was mapping for that game, I usually liked making some-what surreal maps. While making UT maps, I like them to be a bit more realistic. This is my first attempt.

    Love your theme, and the fact that it looks very realistic, going to be adding this to my map rotation on our server for sure!.

    All the more impressive for a first attempt, can't wait to see what else you might be cooking up.

    Thanks. I was surprised that eventually there were dedicated 24/7 Anticamper servers and all of the inspired remakes that followed. Ahh the memories of camping and peeking around the walls that were made out of glass.

    Well, I can't take credit for the original idea. While the basic layout is similar the walls, middle ramp, and sniper platforms are different. I will be making a DOM version after my current (DM-Tomac) reaches final.

    Lol, don't you remember my comments in one of your thread? Nevermind me. I would be happy if you added them to your site or a map pack, just keep the Readme and game files in tact.

    Just a suggestion, you might want to PM/email the authors instead of reviviing long and forgetten threads. <-- The Camp Pack thread is sad.

    The framerate on the anti-camper is not so good. Fun design though.

    Woah, there is a thread resurrection for you.

    There isn't much to the map. The only thing that should start to cause an issue may be all of the animated force field materials. What platform did you play it on?

    Thanks for the comment on the game play.

    I am releasing an updated version of Anticamper called DynaCamper. While it still has all of the force fields, it also has some optimization, a bit more z-axis fighting and a "dynamic" nature to the map.

    Cool both good maps!

    These are A-m-a-z-ing maps that are best played as TDM and I love running around inside this maze, which can be confusing at first but once you figure it out is fun. The visuals and good as well; bots are as good as you want them to be.

    Sorry for the delayed response and thread resurrection, but I appreciated you taking the time to share your thoughts.

    Glad you like my first attempt at UT 3 mapping. Later on, I decided to update these maps and you can check them out here.

    I update Anti-Camper with some tweaks to the flooring and visuals. I also added "Dyna-Camper"... which the walls while always translucent, when the Udamage is taken, they turn purple and you can shoot through them, that is until the Udamage expires.
