Is this the same version I cooked or is this newer? If this is the one I cooked could you please credit me. Its not that easy cooking these models and testing them ... I try to be helpful so its nice to get some thanks and acknowledgment.![]()

It looks kinda cewl with the helm on, but rly the face looks terrible, its not the modelling but the design, she just looks ugly and the hair isnt much....Why cant ppl learn how to make hair?
I had this awsome tutorial, gonna search for it.
ps3 but no pc... okay...
Life is a process by which we are taught humility.
Thats because hes working on the fpv hands and the gibs. The ps3 doesnt support them so he released it for it already. Youll get the pc version when he finished the model completely.

A beta PC version as-is would be nice, but I'm willing to wait. Can't really see much as far as details are concerned with the provided screens. Any chance of some high-rezes to tide me over?
Regardless, I like the clean look of it. Reminds me a bit of the Hellgate templars. Some alternate colors would be kind of cool.

And as is customary for us PC guys (and the occasional gal):

Based on the screens so far, this definitely has my tentative seal of approval.
Any luck with the transparent bits?

... Damn PS3 messing up my post... Anyway...
I think this is great, the PS3 rarely ever sees a beta of a character model. I'm glad you realized the beta as it is now is close to as good as it can be for the PS3. Thank you for uploading it for us!
Now PC users will eventually recieve the final and "superior" model with everything that won't be included for the PS3 at the moment. You guys just have to be patient, just like we had to be. But unlike us, you're guaranteed a final version. Sometimes we get the short end of the stick and aren't guaranteed a working model, so you guys should be grateful.

Thanks for the kudos guys, thought the PS3 peps would like to try this out.
RanShak: No the transparency still doesn't worknot sure how to get it to work. I'm also in florida BTW, are you in miami?
You can check with Alcor to see how he did it for Samus's visor. It turned out really nice.
And nah, I'm in the Tampa Bay area. Dunedin, specifically.

if you can't get the transperancy to work, could you try a visual effect, like pasting a texture there that shows the eyes and cleavage as a drawing perhaps? Atleast for the moment?

great job! dynah is my favorite character to play as.
I am an Unreal ps3 extremist. If any one would like me to test their ps3 cooks, please contact me.
Looks fantastic, although perhaps some of the plates are a little lacking in detail?
I'm looking forwards to when you get around to a PC version![]()
Glad you all like it so far, finishin off fps arms, epic rig is problematic.
My only complaint is in a lot of levels the character has a very heavy glow on her and basically looks bright white. Obviously this is something with the lighting or whatever but its pretty annoying looking because it looks like she is glowing.

Ah ok. It also seems that this happens to certain textures in game, such as the link gun and some lights in custom maps. Yours it just happens to overly much. Seems a texture or reflection issue maybe....

Great looking model...and it runs very well on the PS3....the only thing that needs tweaking is that the glowing is to strong on the model.Other than that its great....looking forward to the day the PS3 can use first person view for mod models.
Hmm..I see its cool for pc users to keep asking for a cook lol

The PC model already exists so there is no need to cook it ... PC users are acting as they always do and just asking for the model to be released as is even though Mandiga only wants to release it once the FPV arms and other things are done. This is very typical behavior for PC users ... to want beta stuff right away. The only reason the PS3 model was released before the PC version in this case is because not much more can be done with the PS3 model since the PS3 version does not support custom family code. Why hold up releasing the model when it is not going to see any great changes ... whereas the PC version will see some great additions before it is released.
I hear yah! Anu...I was just joking though about the PC cook.

Other than the glowing issues has anyone found any other bugs?
UPDATE: Dorry for the delay guys, trying to get around some rigging issues with fps arms, PC version coming soon.
Thanks for all the feed back, please repot any issues or bugs if you spot any.
Oh the anticipation.

Playstation Network: MANDINGA
Hey Mandinga, think you can put a direct link to the JAM file so PS3 users can download it from the PS3 browser?
Yeah, a direct URL to the USERDATA.JAM file instead of the rar file, if its not too much trouble of course. Since the update we don't need folders as bigCman123 said, and that way we can download files directly from the PS3 browser (since the PS3 can't unrar), that way there is no need to transfer it from a PC.
BigCman123 and Hitimics: I packeged it with a read me that I would like distributed with the file. Sorry this is the way I want it.
Playstation Network: MANDINGA
Well you could just put the contents of the Readme in this forum
But nm, I was just asking cause there are PS3 owners without a PC, like my cousin, but I can always go to his home some day and take the file on a USB pen drive.
