    Awesome work, could you also put the files on Filefront as well? Because Rapidshare wont let me d/l them at the same time.

    They're great, It's nice to see more models being posted.
    Though a whole day to upload 8MB is rather crazy, did you send them the binary by pigeon carrier?

    ahhaah the pc versions are 32mb each and also it took around 2-3 hours but i let them upload overnight while sleeping

    Hahaha, wow. That definitely looks like Cloud in my games. The first Cloud model was meh... But with this one, you TOTALLY REDEEMED YOURSELF. It works great, hair looks awesome, and I also notice the build on these characters seems more fitting to their characters. Cloud and Zack both work fine on the PS3. Thank you very much for cooking this for us, and these models are definite keepers.

    well we are always learing,also that was my first test converting my models to unreal.Now when i make another,i'll follow the specifications of unreal converting so it will look great.

    From this you could start making other weapons like this, such as an ax, guitars, maybe a cross gun from Trigun, even some weapons from Halo 3. (Seeing how he puts them on his back)

    The models work great on PS3, thanks alot. And thanks for allowing them to be posted on ut3mod.com, otherwise I would have had to wait longer to get them. One question though. Was anything changed from the beta version last night to this final. Like team colors or whatever. Just wondering, thanks again.

    Not really Larry,i just posted the same ones here.I'll look about the team colors,never done them and i still dont know how to.... I think i might have another release later tonight or tomorrow as i'm fixing some color problems.

    Yeah team colors dont work. Theres a few other general issues with the model.

    1. The underside of the shoulder pads arent textured. You can see this if you look closely on the character selection screen and in game you can see it too. You can just see right through it.

    2. The arms are not completely attached. When they move there arms too far you can see this too.

    As the post before me pointed out, please try to fix those single sided surfaces if you can, they really detract from such a nice model.

    Yeah i can fix that single side shoulderpad.Actually im going to re export it and fix the rotation too,it looks too high

    just a note for you genZ, if you cook your characters for the PC you'll reduce the file size from 32mb to ca 4mb, i found this out the other night when i was messing about with the unrealfrontend.exe

    Also when you feign death with the helmet on (not sure if its just helmet) you can see a sort of slit in the neck of the character sometimes.

    Metatronstar thats a helmet problem,because if i use the neck that comes with the characters he'll appear wierd.
    Grinchy thanks man, i guess not every1 like cloud..and thats ok too :P

    Some news for everybody,Tonight im going to release them again.I made alot of tweaks especialy in the texture.They dont look like they'r the same model anymore.I fixed the shoulderpads,made an inside for them and also resized and rotated them a bit.
    Yesterday i started my MGS4 Snake but i will slowly show progress on this because i'm very busy overall in my RL work so it will take a while.Anyway you'll see some screens as soon as i finalize my zbrush pass. :P

    NyghtcrawleR not really,i dont have the rigged max scene anymore it requires too much time to import it again,fix uv's to match the imported textures and rig it again,check out the size.... export and import fix the sockets...... heh

    I was talking about the first one you released, this is the second one right? Or am I confused?

    I think I must have messed up the files I had here, either that or it was a huge coincidence, the model looks different, the hair doesn't have that bug anymore, but the file size is exactly the same

    Was the way the team colors were implemented before the reason the hair had the problems it had? If not, for Cloud Strife, I thought they way you did it before was great the few times that I got to see the correct colors on it. It just kinda made sense that the hair would get dyed red or blue. That's just MY opinion anyway in case you were thinking of doing it a different way. But if that was the reason for the hair problems, forget this post even exists.

    Guys updated models are up.Yesterday te forums were down or at least they were not working correctly so i couldnt post the links...
    There is just one bug and that is the arms...im sorry about that but it might get fixed in a later release...

    I just tried out the new updated file. I like that the bottoms of the shoulder pads are textured but now theres a couple problems.

    1. Pads dont really sit right on the shoulder, sort of look like theyre floating a little bit. Also a bit too far off the shoulder to the left and right respectively.

    2. Because of the problem above, just running around now I can tell the arms arent attached. Before I could only tell if I moved too far, now you can see they arent attached at all times....

    3. Also the character selection screen doesnt show the updated character, just the old one.

    I would like to see i lttle bit of touching up to make them look like in Crisis Core, becuase Zachs 2nd haircut is awesome, however Genz is a member of the Solid Snake project and id rather have him spending time to get that done.

    Oh sorry bout that, simply awesome that you decided work on work on snake and raiden and they are looked really good so far. When u do return to these look up Crisis Cor Final Fantasy 7, i noticed these models are more based on the Original but the models for cloud and Zach in Crisis core are awsome.

    zack is (supposed) to look the same in all FF VII games, albeit genz made his hair a little short, but no worries, and umm crisis core models there is no need for hes done enough here i say let him work on his other prjects, thanks genz
