Hi guys,
I imported a custom skeletal mesh from maya, with customs animations and everything, but I can walk right throught it! How can i set up collisions for it?
Not the same way with static meshes right?
Thanx!

Nobody knows?![]()
Create a PhysicsAsset for the skeletal mesh and assign that to the SkeletalMeshActor in the map. Skeletal meshes can also be set to use per-poly collision in the AnimSet Editor, but that is not the best idea performance-wise.
Thanx ffe but doesnt seem to work... probably because of one wrong option from the thousands I came upon when creating the physics object, the physics material and applying it to the mesh. I dont want to waste your time by asking you to take me throught this step by step, do you know of any tutorials about this?
Thanx again!
I forgot to mention you must set the CollisionType for the SkeletalMeshActor to COLLIDE_BlocKAll as well.
and..it works!
thanx!
