UT3 Videos

I got bored the other day and made a quick video. I'm using EvilEngines Spawn model(in the vid it's not the latest one with the cool green gib's) with a Impact Hammer on DM fearless. It's not the greatest video( I made it in a hour) but the song fit's it well. Also this is a adult oriented video, theres blood and swearing blah blah.

If anybody else made any cool videos let me know or post'em up. I'm always forcing my friends to watch this stuff in the hopes that they will buy video cards so they can play against me( or maybe on the same team) I also want to say This video was much better before I reduced the file size. originally it was 220mb's for 1min of footage!

yeah it was one of the older versions of him. At some point later on I'm going to make a longer better video I put that one in mp4 format to put on my phone. Gimme a couple days I think I'm going to convert the original into something a little better because the quality kinda sucks on that one. The original looks really nice(I play at max settings) but the file is way too large to warrant putting up for only a min

-this is a pretty good movie showing some of the movement possible in ut3. I'm sure this will open alot of eyes in terms of, "wow, I didn't know I could do that."

I think video makers need to realise that the type of music they choose is important. To pick a heavy rock song with someone shouting (not singing) die... bleep... die is going to appeal to a few people. However, it is also going to be considered absolutely awful music by many, who will then preceed to stop the video to protect their ears from the dire noise.

I turned it off about half way through because of the music. I bet many others did the same.

Awesome video duder! There are some great moves in there. A couple times you fly all the way across the map, are you using a hammer jump or a jump pad? I knew about some of them, but the skills on Deck are rad.

Anyone who thinks the acrobatics were nerfed in UT3 should watch this. IMO its way better than Spawn running around with an impact hammer...

I didn't make the video, nthexwn did. Yeah, and when he fly's across the map he is piston jumping. Like the boost off the wall on defiance to the amp.

You can do a huge piston jump if you charge it up all the way, then at the same time, dodge+piston. That will send you flying. Its exactly like piston jumping (piston+jump) except, instead of jumping, you just dodge+piston.

also, in ut3 you have to work against the gravity a bit more. So, when you do a jump, then a 2nd jump, THEN dodge, you need to dodge asap after your 2nd jump to keep the height, speed. Otherwise you fall down pretty fast and / or don't go very far.

I choose that song because thats the music I listen to when I am playing. Also I did warn in the inital post that there was swearing. I made the video not win popular vote but just for something to do that particular afternoon.
