    Default CPU or Motherboard upgrade?

    Hey all

    a few days ago i was thinking of buying a new GFX card (Geforce 8800 512 Mb GTS)

    Anyway i was thinking it over and i keep seeing people saying quad core this quad core that. And i was thinking should i just upgrade the chip?

    My current stats are:

    Intel pentium D 920 3.0Ghz/800Mhz/2x2MB Cache

    * 1GB DDR2 memory
    * 300GB Hard drive
    * 256MB ATI Radeon x1300 pro graphics card

    So what should i do, simply upgrade the chip or replace the entire motherboard with a quad core processor or go with my original idea of buying the new GFX card?

    Also if i replace just the chip do i need to replace/upgrade the RAM or cache?

    Default

    Get CPU + GFX card, get a E6750 and a 8800GT 512MB

    You Pent D is very poor for games.
    I currently play as [T5K]Bobba_Novis, {T5K}Bobba_Novi, and Gi_96.
    My Rig- ASUS Z68, core I7 2600K @4.2Ghz, and HD6870 in crossfire as seen on my G520 @100Hz
