Gauntlet from Quake III

I really want to create the Gauntlet melee weapon from Quake III is it possible to do? And would anyone like to see it included. Is it worth doing?

i think the ripper weapon has a hidden function with kinda the same effect

lol Azza ya n00b... since when do YOU visit these forums? the Ripper is the gun from previous UT games that shoots flying bladed disks. The alternate fire used to explode them when they hit something if memory serves me correctly.

lol fair enough - check out the full release mods forum - theres a few mutators there that mimic the Ripper for UT3 though I must admit I havent tried them yet. I'm guessing, from HideInLight's post, that one of them ha a hidden alt fire that makes it into a 'buzzsaw' much like the Quake 3 gauntlet Just a case of yoinking the code and remodelling then (get tjohn or war onto it - they've been asking for work)

nvm i didn't read carefully enough. You Type in melee in the console then attack with you secondary. It really feels like the gauntlet.
