Over a month. I think. On and off mostly due to work and school, but the time frame was over a month.

Congrats on releasing this man ... good job. Had a lot of fun testing this map and I really like the way it turned out. Keep 'em coming.

PS3 cook no? You HAVE got a "PC/PS3" tag on the thread...would be a shame if I couldn't play one of the few maps that appeals to me right now.
    Sweet seduction in a magazine,
    endless pleasure in limousine,
    in the back shakes, tambourine,
    nicotine from silver screen.

Why do people bother displaying their PC spec here? Nobody ever notices nor cares about it.

Alright, Anuban cooked it for me a while ago, but I don't think it correlates with the current release. Sorry 'bout that. It was intended for PC & PS3. I apologize.

Very nice map; I think it stands up to the professional maps while having its own cool (no pun intended) style, and it runs really well on PS3. Thanks!

You're very welcome. No bugs? I heard from one person that the map has one issue, and that's a jump pad. Otherwise, do you believe I nailed it right on? Or should I work some more with it?

No, no bugs that I've noticed so far. There are, what, three jump pads… and they seem all seem to work fine. You have to jump to get up the wind tunnel with the fan, but I don't see that as a problem, unless you want people to be able to just run straight in and up. I love the Stargate of Death by the way.

Hmm well this map is intresting, and seems really playable too. Nice work with the height levels too, they bring on nice opportunities to shoot down on players and shoot the players down in many places of the map. Also liked the room with water, where the fog gives the room really nice look overall.
Also loving the ice which is placed neatly in one room. There are a lot of variety between rooms and ammount of things to see is nice.
The rotation propell in one room is a fine addition too, and its fun as hell to shoot bots trough it by the impact of few weapons. I was also shot against it and laughed a bit after seeing the camera rotate as hell
also Framerate is great on Ps3

Found only 2 little bugs that dont really matter. they something to do with the air that should take you trough a ventelation system.
    1) You need to jump to take off from there. 2) in same section after jumping theres a slight chance to get stuck to 1 of the walls in the ventelation system.
Also the map gives a bit claystrophopic feeling, and I would like there to be some open wide spaces like a place full of boxes that contain frozen ppl or what ever this place is ment to freeze. The Ice in the one room seems a bit too squary tough and seems to just suddenly end. And there could be more icy parts in this map too

But this is a fine map, works well with bots and players.

Well, unfortunately, the frozen people would require custom meshes, and that's rather unfortunate, because then it wouldn't be able to work on the PS3. Sorry to tell you that.

Otherwise, I'm glad you liked it. I worked about a month on this puppy, and it was designed to get a good framerate, take a look at the layout! It's not overdone with static meshes, it's not like there are too many emitters, or anything like that, and the rooms are small to occlude a lot of the stuff. Otherwise you'd have framerate drops all over the place. Anywho, I put Frigid on pause because I stopped working on it (Not enough feedback). So enjoy the map, have fun, and don't get caught in the death fan!

Custom meshes DO work on the ps3. Theres a number of maps that have custom meshes, etc done on the map and they run fine on the ps3.

Well, I must admit I didn't know that. Thanks. Anywho, I would do some modeling if I were adept at it, models take knowledge, maps take time. I just need to get some help doing so.

Nice! Really enjoyable and by far one of the funniest maps I played this last month.

A little bug with the turning wheels (rings) and you should proably lower the vents pushing thing. You actually need to jump instead of being push directly... it doesn't totally make sense.

Great icy element, I didn't even knew you could do that lolll. It just confirmed that something I wanted to implement is possible, it's a good news.

Thx for the lesson ^^ :P

i am lookin for some nice zaxis gameplay, lets see if this has it! the screenshots look nice

edit: I thought it was a nicely done map! I love the atmosphere and the layout. The wind tunnel and ice were nice touches. I was wondering if it was intentional to survive on the little pipes below the shock rifle bridge if you jumped down....there is no way to get back up...also I found the same bug with getting stuck on the "fan" jump pad like the other players have commented on.
