Start up error

Bit of help needed. I start the game and it shows the UT splash screen, then it goes into full screen mode with a blank window for a few seconds, then I get a message saying Unreal Tournament has encountered a problem and needs to close.

Search the forum or read Ultron's sticky post and try some of the self-help because you haven't posted any of your system specs. In general, update your video card drivers (ATI Catalyst 8.2/nVidia Forceware 169.28 or better), edit your UTEngine.ini as directed in Ultron's post and try disabling sound with the -nosound switch on the shortcut.
