EPIC PLEASE!!!!GoW2 Multi-Player

GoW is by far the best game ever made, now with that said I only have a few suggestions that would in my mind improve GoW 2 & destroy the competition.

1. Please please use matchmaking so I don't have to jump in a 19 round match & watch some noob or little kid quit after the first round.

2. Also develop a better rank system so everyone can play with someone on the same skill level like Halo 3 . I'm pretty sure that every one that plays this game and is good at it would agree with me.

3. Keep all the maps from GoW 1 which should be a no brainer.

4. Now this is probably the best idea ever!!! To me at least. If you don't use matchmaking or a rank system set a rule that if you quit a ranked match your unable to play ranked matches for at least a week or something like that, and kick to person to player matches only for that week. Obviously this would not even be an issue if you used Matchmaking like Halo 3 which would take this franchise completely to another level.

I would like the option to vote on someone to be booted. Like if 75% of the room votes to boot one person, they are booted. Also, slight customization of the vizuals of the character. Like I said in other topic, changes that won't affect stats or gameplay.

Why would keeping all the maps be a no brainer? Games rarely keep the same maps in the sequel. I'm actually not a big fan of matchmaking, i like how it is in gears better, its more casual. The only good idea is a better ranking system. Not letting someone play ranked for a week because they left one match? What if they had to leave and it was something important. Well you obviouly have no idea what your talking about if you honestly think epic will take any of this into consideration. And ya, i do complain about 2 piecing, i did in one of my posts in another thread. Its an incredibly cheap way to kill someone and requires no skill, i know i know, its in the game deal with it. But you cant tell me you've never considered some legit way to kill someone in a video game "cheap".

Yes i know that it is incredibly annoying when people leave a ranked match. But i highly doubt anyone would agree with you on banning them for a week. Even if epic did implement something like that (which they wont), it should only be like a half hour at most. And i highly, Highly doubt that you've never left a ranked match before.

Also i dont dislike matchmaking, i just like what gears has right now better. And if you read my whole post i explained why i liked it better than matchmaking, its more casual. You can just join a game in progress and leave whenever you want (for player matches that is). I'm sure many ppl still prefer matchmaking, i was just saying i dont, ppl are allowed to have an opinion you know.

And lastly I wouldnt go around bragging to people that you play more video games than them, thats not really something to brag about (get a life).

I really doubt that any of these would improve the game... I have a few suggestions myself though.

1. Customizable characters. I have quite a few friends who dont like the lack of control over their character's looks.
2. Maybe more people in multiplayer rooms, like you could do gamemode like... lets say Deathzone, 7v7..that would be intense
3. Throw back grenades!
4. I heard your already doing chainsaw counters/techniques so thats all good.
5. Keep vehicles out... Its so great already!
6. It would be great, not to use matchmaking, but just to be able to keep your friends together, make parties and stuff... inviting is a hassle...

8. More executions, like, random ones every time you press X to execute...
9. Add a bit more recoil effect to the game.

Ya that is a great idea, whatever form of game joining/creating system epic uses, some form of partying would be great (at least for player matches). It does get annoying to have to invite all your friends when you join a game. Just some way of making it easier to play with your friends (for player matches) would make gears 2 a hundred times better.

Sigh. No matter how many times I say the words, people don't seem to hear them. Gears1 uses matchmaking. All Live games use matchmaking. They all do skill based match searches. ALL. You have to create special servers and get MS approval NOT to use matchmaking based off of skill.

I hear you Joe dont worry, they dont want to listen to you, they want to listen to themselves. I think he wants it like halo where it finds games for you and you dont have to pick a host or map. I hope yall never do that

Creating team itself is a from of cheating in 4x4 ranked match. Team should always invite a team for play. This is no different from glitching. The only thing is, it doesn't require any skills to glitch like this. GOW gives a freedom to create team but people often misuse it.

the voting idea is terrible. what if someone is doing really good, and people are getting frustrated and start to vote him off? that would get annoying really quick. Also character customization would be incredible. If they did that with a rank system like call of duty 4, it would add depth to the multi player unlike gears 1 which was kinda crappy.

thats why the vote would be like 75% or above, there shouldnt be a reason for two of his own team to vote him out if he is doing really good. it would have to be a vast majority of the room to vote him out, not a simple majority

gears is the only game i've ever played that makes you wait until the end of the multiplayer games for the achievements to unlock. where as it should just pop up during game play once it's accomplished.

the achievement has nothing to do with quitters. the description says get 10,000 kills in a ranked match. not whether someone quits or not. thats bull and you know it...

bungie fixed the get 10 head shots in a row achievement unlocking problems, so i'm sure epic can fix the seriously problem with gears.

Take the sand out of your vagina and realize its only a gamerscore, whether you put in the work or not shouldnt be getting you this riled up, especially when your only at 12k. If it makes you that mad why are you still playing for it, you must enjoy playing the game if you are still going for it

And I believe the trust rating is determined across all games, so you should never drop from any ranked match if you can help it.

These are a few things that i agree with and suggest:

1. I agree with the character customization thing, it would be cool to create your own unique COG or Locust.

2. In the sequel we need some options for matches that enable 5v5, 6v6, 8v8. This would be really awesome IMO.

3. Please fix the randomness of the shotgun and other weapons because for instance many times i play this game on MP and i shoot some guy point blank from like 2 feet away with a shotgun and nothing happens to him. Another instance is when someone is trying to chainsaw me and I shoot them with a shotgun and the blast goes through thier body and does no damage and they get to chainsaw me. I thought that a direct blow with a shotgun blast straight to the stomach would blow them to peices but apparently not.

3. make some kind of matchmaking like halo where the game sets up a random match and noone is hosting so that the connections will be better and you dont have to worry about the host leaving and the game ending. Also include into this some kind of partying up system so we can bring parties into ranked matches.

Bush you really need to cool it, and Ult Go read my 2 posts above yours. That is everything you need. I have been here for a longer than most people and I can tell I have seen Epic answer my of people's questions over and over again. There is not reason that they need to repeat themselves 1 more time for you. Use the search function that is what it is there for, to read the already answered questions.
