UT3 Locks on different DM Maps

Playing Multi-player Deathmatch over a LAN conection, my computer and DH's computer with Bots in the games. It has locked up on Deck once and 3 time in a row in Rising Sun each time a hard boot then a regular restart. Each was in respawn. Hard reboot was the only way out. I had it happen once.
Both systems are identical.
Dell Dimension E510
XP SP2
CPU 3.20 Dual Core
3 Gig Ram
ATI X600 256 Hyper memory.
ATI Catalyst 8.1

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Wow nice system.

Well, probably somthing is causing a fatal error which cannt be recovered from.

...I have no idea how to fix it.

Probably somthing in ut engine.

Look @ Ultron's tweak threads, there might be a specifc problem/fix related 2 u.

lockups can be cause by a number of things tbh.

1.overheating.
2.bad ram.
3.not enough juice on your power supply.
4.bad drivers.
5.conflicts within the comp.

Really hard to say why tbh,all you can do is check various things one by one,until you find the prob.
Is it only ut3 it does it on.?

UT3 is the only problem. All other programs work fine and some are graphic intense.
Both mine and my DH system locks up.
