Ok i realize the Wargame Crash is a common one, i dono what to do.
When i first installed it Single player worked fine, i wasent ever able to join multiplayer games becouse i failed to connect ( asumeing this was due to processor speed being to slow at 1.1ghz ).
I spent some money to buy a new processor. I fijited with this one for 2 weeks, never getting it to boot stably. I further examined my older processor relizeing i dident have the bios set to reach its potential setting, so i changed the settings. its now clocked at 2.1ghz I installed the game and got singleplayer to come up and run alot smoother. I came home one day and found my father had used my computer to download some software to update his and it was infectious to the point where a reformat was required.
I then reinstalled the OS ( XP Home ) installed everything over, and what do you know as soon as i click the little icon it pops up goes black and crashes to desk. I spent money on a new HDD to see if my previous was too infectios or gimp (being a broken ghetto rigged sata drive) I got a good IDE drive.
I spend a week now reading over these forums looking for a solution trying everything mentioned and going through countless reinstalls. Nothing seems to fix it.
Im runing a Asus A7n8x Deluxe with a Radeon 9600/x1050 series with a Gig of ram and a Athlon xp 2500 Processor ( the athlon xp 3200 barton + being the one i failed to stableize ) The nforce 2 chipset is rather hard to find drivers for now but i managed to have them updated.
I really dono whats wrong if anyone has any suggestions plz i would love any feedback i have spent and absurd amount of money to get this game working preferably with multi player. I love epic games and i don't want to badmouth anyone but this is absurd i am also looking at UT3 Being i was ranked #1 on Ut 2004's Mutant Ladder for a month or 2 before i stopped playing. But with software such as this and spending as much as i have is it really worth it?
Please Someone give me an answer to solve fix this. Thanks.
