SERVICE How to Play Maps & Mods in your Cache!!!

Tutorial: How to play the Maps in your Cache:

Okay, i played on the map impasse online and i thought it was pretty good.
Then, i decided to see if i could play it via my cache, and now, after trial and error i can.

Step One: Play the map online at least once.

Step Two: Locate in your setup : My Documents/My Games/Unreal Tournament 3/UT Game/Cache

In there there is a bunch of randomly named letter and number .uxx files and a an .ini file called Cache.

Step three: Open that document and look at the list, find out the random name for the map.

    Impasse was something like BE09XTRQ899M.UXX

Step four: Copy that uxx file into your published or unpublished maps folder.

Step five: Rename the file appropriately and change it to have the .ut3 ending so i made impasse:

    Code:
    BE09XTRQ899M.UXX - to - Impasse.ut3
    You can now play it

Tutorial: How to play the Mods in your Cache:

Same up to step four, copy it into your published or unpublished scripts folder.

Step five: Rename it something like: MoveXMP.uc i think, pretty sure its .uc.

Not sure now, but for mods with editable variables like custom UT. I think that you will be unable to change any of the options due to the fact of the missing .upk file, and will have to play with the ones you had before.

But i will need confirmation on the mods side of things

    Hope everybody's happy now

Would be grateful if someone could make somekind of c++ program to make this easier:roll:
