That looks awesome dude! Only thing is filefront never works for me so i was hoping that someone might be able to please hook me up with a mirror to say rapidshare or something like that instead (for the PS3 version). Cheers in advance.

That's weird. On the PC it works fine. And when I cooked it for the PS3 there were no errors.

Ohh that sucks, it sounds like the same thing that happened with the CTF-Atlantea map, maybe it is just filesize related, but that sucks if true.

[edit : this file is less than 4MB bigger than the largest file I've seen working on my PS3 (Bunker), it may not be filesize related, but it's something maybe worth looking into.]

Is it possible to just cut out a section, like I said before, to knock off ~4MB? Because it would test if that was the problem or not.

Just like with the other map, I wish Epic would step in and just tell us why it doesn't work instead of making us do the research ourselves.

its very strange... maybe it has something to do with a certain object or texture that the cooker can't handle kind of like the problem with custom models on the ps3? O_o

I was just thinking filesize because it links up to that other map, no other maps have had the 'loading screen' problem from what I've seen, and if we eliminate the file size problem (make it 31MB for example) we KNOW it's something else.

Damn how very frustrating this is. The same thing is happening to me with this map not getting past the loading screen.

Someone else had a map that had working custom models though, at least I think the flatwars guy said he did (in beta 2)

Yeah custom models seem to be pretty hit or miss on PS3. Some maps have them and they work fine, but others don't. Very strange.

You mentioned about the ladders, the guy who made the remake of DM-Wizard on the full release forum had working ladders that you may wanna look into.

It happens to me sometimes too. Don't know but the problem lasts for several hours or a day, then disapperars.
If you want it badly and now, turn your firewall of for a few seconds, just to click "download" then turn it immediately on again (you don't want your PC to turn into zombie-spambot right?)
Downolad process will continue with firewall turned on.

I have had maps not load before on PS3 when they are working files and it was just Windows messing up my USB drive. I thought that might be the same thing for this map so I tried a few times and it looks like it really does fail to load. The new improvements looks awesome in the screens though.

... Are you serious? That is one of the stupidest comments I think ive ever heard.. and I love how people that like to diss the PS3 always say "I own one" before hand - yeah right. If you did have one, which you dont, you wouldnt be saying it isnt cool lol idiot

If you really think that, you should check out Uncharted at least, easily rivals Crysis.

Just tried it, unless I'm missing something it's still not working (stuck at loading screen).

Please, would you tell me if it would be possible to cull a part of your map, just to test file size limitations like I said before. I really think there might be something to it, and it would help prevent future grief and work for future modders.

Okay how about compatibility? I mean how do Euro maps work on US versions and vise versa, does it make a difference?

Nope, it's just in the directory structure. You wouldn't be able to import it if that were wrong.

Don't believe it's a file size issue. VCTF Torlan comes in at 42.8MB and works fine, where as NightinthePark-XL is 34.9MB.

Maybe try letting someone else cook it who's done a bunch of PS3 cooks??? Anyways, looks like a piece of art. I hope to play it!

Bad news for the PS3 crowd ... the new version still doesn't load ... so there really is something about this level that is making it a PC only level. Still PS3 users shouldn't feel bad ... the first version works well and you do have that one. But if you ever get this one fixed for the PS3 cool ... If you want I will work with you and test each iteration you have until we find the one that works on the PS3 ... just send me links to files you want to try.

Anyway the PC version is excellent and I really like the added content ... it adds a lot to the level and makes playing it a lot more enjoyable. I am definitely keeping this version.
