After playing bioshock and just about every other current gen fps, i was extremely disappointed with the water effects in UT3...There is almost no interactivity in the water, and instead of having sophisticated dynamic effects for when you're underwater, Epic opted for a lackluster fullscreen blur....it takes a lot of interactivity out of the game.

Even HL2 has better water interactivity...I'm not saying i expect every game to look like real life, but UT3's avoidance of detail in water shows a little bit of laziness or lack of polish.
    let's see those patches....

QFT....after see all of the decent quality and above games of 07', It's actually quite disappointing that they were so lazy when creating the water effects....I dont expect things like full real time world reflection or anything like that, but what's present in game is simply unacceptable.....Even TWO WORLDS, ONE OF THE WORST GAMES OF 07' had more detail given to the water effects....There were splash effects, real time reflections, you name it....Take in mind the rest of the game was butt ugly, but UT3 could easily have a more robust water physics system than it currently has, without going overboard and recking the framerate....

Comparing bioshock and HL2 with UT3 is stupid, single player games require more detail, when your deathmatching you just dont need it.

BTW, if you that disappointed with the water effects, go into UnrealED and play with the particle effects and fluids, it's not that hard to do.
