Get a hold of a server?

Hi all!

I've always wanted to play games a little more serious, and now I had the opportunity to do so. So I joined a ladder and so on.
Today's my first game, and now I realised that I don't have any server.
I have played a lot of Counter-Strike and in that game you can rent nice servers with 10 ping for a buck in two hours or so.

So i've looked around, and all the server-rent-guys wants to rent me a server for months. I just want it in an hour.
Do you know how to get that?

I just like to explain WHY I started a new topic, because when I am in the helping situation I just like to "hear" more than "Where do you get a server!?!?!?" or "Why am I sucking."

But hey, maybe I misunderstood everything. Maybe you shouldn't be nice to people.

i agree ladder sites should provide some servers incase the person cant
