    Default Could we get some info on installing mutators?

    Hi guys, I just downloaded a pack of mutators, and been trying to install them (I always used the installation progs you could download and have auto-install mutators in previous UT games).

    Problem is, many mutators don't include install instructions. Just a tip, if you develop software, try to include a readme describing what it does and how to install it.

    Anyways I've worked out .u files go into cookedPC in UT3 directory, and .ini go into config in my documents UT directory. However, some mutators include a "script" folder, and I have no idea where to stick that, another changed up the file structure and had a number of folders in the mutator directory, and some say that your meant to put the files in the "cookedPC" directory in your my documents UT folder, which doesn't acctually exist. Looking at the ini file, they don't even refrence the files differently so I just stuck it in the same cookedPC folder as the other mutators.

    All up this is a confusing un-standardised mess <_< can someone explain to me where the different files are meant to go and how it's meant to be structured?

    - My Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3\UTGame\Config -->> where all .ini files go (settings file)

    - C:\Unreal Tournament 3\UTGame\CookedPC -->> place all .u and .upk files here

    - C:\Unreal Tournament 3\UTGame\Localization\(language i.e. INT) -->> place all .int files here.

    This is how I have ALL my mutators installed and they work 100%. Good luck.

    haha thanks! thats exactly how I've got it set up, but some of the mutators say to do it differently, though I ended up ignoring them for the sake of standardisation.
