DM-Gateroom-2K7 + pics!!!!

This is my first map for UT3 its a re-make of a classic DM map i created for UT99 and then on UT2K4 and now UT3 its LG so some may not like it... Its not the best map out there but I am quite impressed with it.It was really a get to know the editor map because its quite easy to make anyway here you go the download below

Im affraid about the number of portals you have. Portal= frames drop, plural portals=major frames drop especially when they are close the each other.

I thought that but it doesnt really bother the map all that much because its quite a basic map and FPS are good with them all 2K7 means 2007 correct

I'm assuming you got the idea from the series Stargate SG-1. You are my hero combining these two together, funny tht I was just watching the show too.

I guess I should just download it and play, but may I ask....do the portals simply go back to the same room?

the gates teleport you to the opposite side of the arena and the teleporters teleport you up to the top of the map ull see when you download lol its a bit hard to explain

Little hard to see all the way across map,damn bots don't seem to have that problem.lol Fps monger wow I'm in the mid 30's on a big portion of this map.Just not that smooth when the fps drops.I do like the concept and layout.

Good job on this, it definitely has the Stargate feel to it. Especially looking at the screens.

thanks to all that have downloaded i apreciate it thanks for all the good comments that you have given me thats what makes me continue mapping I will be starting a new map today DM-Chaos-2K7 a small arena type map,its maddness but really fun to play please stay tuned for the next installment lol

looks like one of those just for fun and not for competition maps...yes!...hopefully the frame rate isn't too bad because i'm already running on min settings(excluding the resolution)
