damn thats a good job, i just realized your the one that said you had the model but rigging it was gonna be hard. seems like it ws easy for you.

Nah that model was ripped from Crysis and it is for UT2004, that screen shot is from UT2004. It is hard to rig it, it's like playing connect the dots in 3DS Max, and there are a lot of dots to connect with the model, I'm just lucky this time, I've just kept fixing small errors on the model and tried it in UT2004, back and fourth until I got a decent outcome.

That's impressive. Did you try the red-glow shaders with it? That'd be pretty cool too.
I've just finalized the textures and added the necessary stuff like bio and the avatar. I'll post some screen shots and have the download link later on today.

hey PRED do you mess around with the MAX PAYNE 2 mods???
You might notice the head textures of the nanosuit don't match up to the ingame models.
So on the crysis model I did for ut3, I had to repaint the diffuse and specular texture to get that metal headpiece. For some reason I can't find that texture in the game that makes that part silver, wonder if you noticed that too.
I've noticed that too; when I was looking at the model ingame it had that metal trim on the suit head but in the textures it didn't. I could just mess around with the specular masking and add the metal trim.
Hey man thanks alot for doing this for UT2K4 users ... there are still plenty of us that play that game and it is really cool you did this as a user request. Ends up you are going to make a lot of people happy.
Edit: If you are still taking requests for UT2K4 models do you think it would be possible to rip a version of his leader with his face showing ... that would be really cool. And maybe just maybe gus cole from Gears of War, as you can tell I would like some more high quality black characters to play as. If you can't not a problem ... this Nomad model is a welcome surprise as it is.

That Crysis model I ported was from the demo, I was just playing around with the Direct X9 Ripper and decided to pull that model from the scene in 3DS Max, I had that model sitting around on my hard drive for weeks so after reading someone wanting the Nanosuit model I just decided to rig him and port him over. Really I wasn't on planning on doing any ports, but I decided too after a while, I just can't let a $3,000.00 program sit in the dust you know? As of requests I don't do them, once in a while I randomly port easy looking models over to UT2K4, nothing huge as I learned from Big Daddy, and for the G.O.W. guys, those models have a ridiculous number of polygons, Big Daddy and the Crysis model took some time to compile, G.O.W. models would probably freeze my PC, I guess when I beef up my PC some more and buy the game for PC I'll take a shot at it.

OK for those who got my Crysis model, I've made team color skins for the model but I can't get the colors to show up in team games. Anyways the textures are there and anyone who knows how to skin can try to make those team colors show in-game. I've did that 1 and 0 thing for the texture names and still no show.

That reminds me this model has the bug some custom models have where when the invisibility adrenaline power is used the head is still visible. I have no idea what the fix is but I thought you might want to know. I guess this is one positive that UT3 has for model makers.

Yes.The swords are from Ballistic weapons and the kung fu fighting is from Kakutou 2k4.Really fun mutator though.I recommend you play with the Kakutou Arena mutator so everyone will just fight with their hands and feet.

I dunno how to fix that, did you download the latest update for the Crysis Model? Maybe that may work, if not I'll find some solution to fix it when I fiddle with UnrealEd and Photoshop some more.
After messing around with the .upl's and textures, I figured out how to make team colors appear. It seems that only the visor and the body suit can only show up as team colors, so I made a blue visor and blue cloaking lights to make the blue team colors show, anyways just copy over the CrysisMaleA_rig.utx and CrysisMaleA_rig.upl with the one I'm hosting on FileFront and hopefully things don't get buggy.

Hi all. I tried to contact you, ZeroError2K8 , witheout success. So I decide to ask the question here.
For those who use the 3D ripper DX software , to snap the scene and export it in 3DS max , I have a question.
I tried the software under crysis , and snaped a scene. When I open it on max , and isolate the character , the mesh is more slim than the original. Like it was compressed...
Someone got this problem too ?
In fact , I'm looking for a meaning to extract the nanosuit model , and make some 3D renders of it , and I don't know how to do that properly...
The idea of the 3D snapshot was great , but I must be idiot , I don't manage to do it...

Do you have the UT2004 animation files for 3DS Max? Cuz I can send you the Crysis model rigged with the animations so that you can pose it.
