Amazingly I haven't had the crashing problems or the Widows Live login issues that seem to be prevalent on this forum. Since I was having the stuttering problem I decided to do a reinstall. Tried uninstalling from the auto run menu and the control panel to no avail. Then I decided to manually un-install GOW by deleteing the data files and the registery entries. I also ran Registery Mechanic to make sure everything is completely un-installed. As of now there is no visible trace of any GOW files on my computer. My problem is now when I try to re-install GOW I get the message:

Error number: 0x80040702
Description: Failed to load DLL: FirewallInstallHelper

Setup will now terminate

Does anyone have a fix for this? What I am missing here? I have installed other games just to test the Install Shield and it worked fine for the other game I tested it with. How can I install GOW fine the first time and now it won't install at all?
