just because you close a thread that rants about split screen doesn't meen another one won't pop up in its place. i know this thread will be closed but i don't care. If thats how problems get solved around then I really feel ashamed for the person closing the thread.

You are obviously confused. The purpose of these forums is to discuss problems, but the method for doing so is to join existing threads, not feature yourself by starting a new one with a personal rant. And if you really understood that, you'd know that starting a new thread is less useful at calling attention to a problem then joining an ongoing discussion in a thread where everyone else is talking about it. That should be obvious by the attention that the main split screen discussion got where Mark Rein came and joined in.

Mark actually came in the thread wow.I think split screen is stupid in my opinion.Example,I hate to admit it but I bought a 360 elite and gold live and I played graw2 daily hosted rooms etc.I for can tell you the split screeners lagged all the time.So screw split screeners I would ban and kick imediately.Oh yes the elite ring of death in 3 months.POS you know wat that means rite...lol

I wasn't making this thread to rant about split screen. I made it to express how I feel about how the situation was addressed. This could go for anything as far as I'm concerned. I was just simply stating that I feel that the closing of threads doesn't really help anything except make it look like avoidance. "posting and posting and posting and annoying" as you say wouldn't happen if there was a thread that would be related to that topic. unfortanately, in this case there is not one. until there is you will always see threads like this one regardless of what the actual problem is.

Generally, they leave one thread open and close the others. They only lock 'am all when the flaming starts. That's my experience on these forums anyway. YMMV.

Ahh...I hadn't been back to read that. Yes it was. And the issue about split screens in WarTourist's last post was addressed when it was closed. So there is no further purpose in discussing it since Epic has said they will evaluate it. That was the purpose of the thread, and it has been met for the moment. Any other attempts to discuss serve no purpose but for the person posting to vent their frustration or displeasure--that's not the purpose of these forums.
