    MODEL [request] a unused head - corrupt

    I have found a unused head mesh in the corrupt files, so i want to ask if it is possible to add it to the customcharacter menu so that i can use it? maybe for a new character? i think the only thing the corrupt robots make different is the head. does someone now how to add those things?

    i am trying to find out how to make a new team and show it in the custom char menu, so far only with retextured versions, but i dont know anything

    (sorry if its the wrong forum, iam a little confused)

    you have to load the UT Game/CookedPC/Characters/CH_Corrupt_male.upk
    into your unreal editor then you see in the generic browser if you have marked that you will see all ressource types a mesh called "SK_CH_Corrupt_male_Head05"
    this is the unused head.

    I checked into it, and you can get him into the game by editing your My Games/Unreal Tournament 3/UTGame/Config/UTCustomChar.ini

    At the end of the section where you see "Parts=(Part=PART_Head," add the following line:

    Parts=(Part=PART_Head,ObjectName="CH_Corrupt_Male. Mesh.SK_CH_Corrupt_Male_Head05",PartID="E",FamilyI D="LIAM")

    Now the game will recognize the head as being for the Corrupt. Since the retarded interface does not allow us to swap heads in the character selection screen, we have to make a character for that head. At the very end of the section where you see "Characters=(CharName=," add the following line:

    Characters=(CharName="NewCorrupt",Description="<St rings:UTGameUI.CharLocData.Enigma_Description>",Ch arID="N",bLocked="false",Faction="Liandri",Preview ImageMarkup="<Images:UI_Portrait.Character.UI_Port rait_Character_Liandri_Male_Head03>",CharData=(Fam ilyID="LIAM",HeadID="E",FacemaskID="A",TorsoID="A" ,ShoPadID="A",bHasLeftShoPad=True,bHasRightShoPad= True,ArmsID="A",ThighsID="A",BootsID="A"))

    It will use Enigma's portrait (I don't know if they made a portrait for this head, I haven't checked). You can change the name to whatever you want, add AI data etc., just leave the CharID and HeadID alone. Now it should work!

    ahh i begin to understand how it is make... i think i will test if i can make my own faction and use retextured models for it. well the ids for the different things like arms and so one tell what it uses by standart? hm hm... i will try and find out thanks for the help!

    i have also noticed, that the right robot in the team screen uses this head^^

    and yes , it has its own preview picture only change the 3 to a 5 and it will shown up

    i found out that you can easily add the two heads used for the models you became when you bought your game befor it was realesed.

    the female ironguard name is head4
    and the necris head is head2 also female

    ok, now i have looked at all the team files and i found:

    unused head ronin male : head01 (why its 01?????hmm)
    unused head ironguardfemale : head04
    unused head necris female : head02
    unused corrupt head : head 05
    unused ronin schoulderpad : 07
    unused ronin arms: 05
    unused ronin shoes: 05

    ok i know that the two female heads are not really unused, but you got them only if you bought the game at amazon before it was released ( in germany it was so, dont know the other country)

    so i think maybe the other parts are something like this too? maybe something given in an addon or something like this? pff doesnt care i will implement them^^
    i give you the ini soon, if you want^^
    (the female heads are in the ini, i think you only have too add a customchara)

    There's also two character that don't unlock using the 'unlockallchars' trick.

    yeah thanks, buz there are as i said some unused shoulder pads, arms and boots for the ronins^^ thanks for the rest i will give it a try^^ and the unused corrupt head wasnt in the custom char file so if you want it you have to made what is descripted above^^

    hmm and is it right to give me the codes??? or to give them the whole comunity?

    I guess that 90% of the people in this forum already entered "unlockallchars"* into the soncole already.


    *) Or whatever the command was.

    ^^ but will it give you all characters?? i mean all, or is it only to unlock the char you will unlock if you have played the singleplayer "campaign"

    I'm pretty sure it will unlock only those from the campaign. Not sure about the two promotion ones Arial and Alana though. I used the unlock codes for those before i used the 'Unlockchars' in the console.

    just open the UTCustomChar.ini file, and replace all bLocked="true" with bLocked="false". After you do that, all characters will be unlocked.

    the unlockallchars command does unlock those 2 promotion models as well.
